    Walker Crips Group plc announces that on the 31st October 2008 the Trustees of the Walker Crips Group Share Incentive Plan acquired
13,172 ordinary shares (comprising 5,270 Partnership shares, and 7,902 Matching shares) for the benefit of the participants of the Plan. The
price paid by the participants was 63.5p. The Partnership shares will be used to satisfy employees' contributions to the Plan deducted from
their October pay. The Matching shares are purchased for the employees' benefit by the Group and are subject to certain eligibility
criteria.  

    A number of Directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities within Walker Crips Group plc, as contributors to the plan,
have acquired the following interests in the shares:-
