                      APPOINTS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


SP Holdings PLC (the 'Company'), the marketing and financial services company,
announces that Sally Hart, 51, has joined the board as a Non-Executive Director.
She is also currently a director of Wings (Catering & Hospitality Management)
Limited and Millstream Management Co Limited.

Sally has extensive international experience in international sports events and
hospitality businesses, particularly in motor sports such as Formula 1.

The Company confirms that there are no other details which require to be
disclosed under schedule 2 paragraph (f) of the AIM Rules with respect to Sally
Hart.

Application has been made for 1,981,480 ordinary shares to be admitted to
trading on AIM.  These shares have been issued as consideration for the
acquisitions of Hayward Event and Marketing Services Limited (740,741), O.A.S
(UK) Limited (592,592), Retail Source Limited (370,370) and Provisor Global
Search Limited (277,777).  Trading is expected to commence in these shares on 17
November 2003.
