ICOP Digital, Inc., (NASDAQ: ICOP), an industry-leading company
engaged in advancing digital surveillance technology solutions,
today announced it was again awarded the contract for digital in
car video systems by the Cranford, New Jersey Township for a
statewide Police Cooperative Pricing System. This program is
designed to identify quality and reliable products, with firm
competitive pricing, to serve the needs of police departments in
New Jersey. Currently, there are 110 police departments that are
members of the program; however, any of the approximately 2,000
agencies across the State are eligible to order through the same
contract.
ICOP has been, and continues to be the sole provider through the
Cranford pricing system since 2007, and has achieved significant
success in the region. The Company has sold to many police
departments in New Jersey over the last several years, including
the sale of 53 ICOP systems to the Newark Police Department in June
2010.
"Our continued customer loyalty in the State of New Jersey
helped us to establish the relationship and confidence in the ICOP
system necessary to bring the Newark opportunity to closure. The
renewal of the Cranford purchasing program gives us the continued
visibility and the purchasing vehicle necessary to expand our
presence in this important state," said Bob Bradley, National Sales
and Marketing Director at ICOP.
