As the United Kingdom welcomes former Finance Minister Rishi Sunak as its next Prime Minister, ties between Sunakโs immediate family and a Fortune 500 Indian information technology company thatโs an official partner of the World Economic Forum, soft on the Chinese Communist Party, and a staunch advocate of central bank digital currencies and social credit scores are pushed into the limelight.
The company in question is Infosys, a megafirm that trades on the New York Stock Exchange with a $76 billion market capitalization, founded by Narayana Murthy, father of Sunakโs wife, Akshata Murthy, National Pulse reported in July before Sunak was defeated by Liz Truss. https://www.visiontimes.com/2022/10/24/rishi-sunak-infosys-cbdcs-social-credit.html

RSI Alert: Infosys (INFY) Now Oversold : Buy buy
Legendary investor Warren Buffett advises to be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful. One way we can try to measure the level of fear in a given stock is through a technical analysis indicator called the Relative Strength Index, or RSI, which measures momentum on a scale of zero to 100. A stock is considered to be oversold if the RSI reading falls below 30.
In trading on Friday, shares of Infosys Ltd. (NYSE: INFY) entered into oversold territory, hitting an RSI reading of 29.5, after changing hands as low as $32.25 per share. By comparison, the current RSI reading of the S&P 500 ETF (SPY) is 62.7. A bullish investor could look at INFYโs 29.5 RSI reading today as a sign that the recent heavy selling is in the process of exhausting itself, and begin to look for entry point opportunities on the buy side. E-commerce tech firm Skava acquired by Infosys for $120 million
Apr 27, 2015, 11:10am PDT
โWe built out the technology and seeing it succeed is what has kept us going,โ said Skava co-founder Arish Ali in the company's San Francisco office. The firm has agreed to be acquired by Infosys for $120 million.
Skava, a San Francisco e-commerce tech provider focused on mobile and in-store platforms for big-box retailers, has agreed to be acquired along with an affiliate by the Indian tech services giant Infosys (NYSE: INFY) for $120 million.
Co-founded in 2002 by CEO Arish Ali and Sudha Varadarajan, Skava never took any outside money. It began as a gaming company, but made a fortuitous pivot in 2008 to help big companies like Staples, Toys R Us and Gap make more money from their websites and other digital outlets, like mobile and in-store kiosks.
Last year the company had 270 employees and boasted of 2013 revenue of $22 million, up from $1.2 million in 2009.
Skava, which also goes by the name Kallidus Inc., found an eager reception for its expertise with mobile technologies, personalization of customer appeals and analytics. Business boomed by more than 300 percent from 2010 to 2012 alone, and the company's staff ballooned by 628 percent over a two year period, with most of the growth in India.
The all-cash deal includes retention bonus and a deferred component, Bangalore-based Infosys said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Infosys is a technology consulting and outsourcing company that operates in more than 50 countries. It employs 176,000 people and $8.7 billion in annual revenue.
