STOCKHOLM--Investor AB (INVE-B.SK), the Swedish investment
company, Thursday said its net asset value amounted to SEK200.9
billion or SEK264 per share on September 30, 2013, an increase by
SEK18.2 billion, (or SEK24 per share) during the quarter.
MAIN FACTS:
-"Our balance sheet provides ample capacity for investments as
well as for dividend growth," the company said.
-Analysts had expected NAV/Share of SEK253.
-The company said the refinancing of Mölnlycke Health Care was
completed during the quarter.
-Investor increased its equity in Mölnlycke Health Care by
EUR544 million, of which EUR225 million related to its portion of
the company's mezzanine debt.
-"We are unsatisfied with Aleris' overall performance." the
company said, adding that it will take longer to improve
performance than previously expected.
-During the quarter, Investor's total return was 8%, 2
percentage points below the general Swedish market.
-Net profit in the quarter rose to SEK18.31 billion from SEK9.44
billion last year.
-Shares closed at SEK202.10 on Wednesday.
