LONDON--Dart Group PLC (DTG.LN), an aviation services group, Thursday said it has entered into an agreement with U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing Co. (BA) to purchase a further three new Boeing 737-800NG aircraft, following a previous order for 27 made in September.

The additional three aircraft will be delivered between September 2016 and April 2018, it said in a statement.

The aircraft will cost "substantially the same" as those approved by the company for the order of the 27 aircraft. At current prices, the total value of the transaction for the three aircraft is $288 million, even though the group said it has negotiated "significant discounts", without providing further information.

The deal is expected to be funded through a combination of internal resources and debt, it said.

At 0957 GMT, shares rose 0.4% to 562 pence.
