Vodafone Group Plc ("the Company")

In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that today the following directors of the Company were granted options over
the following number of ordinary shares of US$0.10 each in the Company
pursuant to the Vodafone Group 1998 Sharesave Scheme at a price per share of
127p. The options are exercisable either three or five years (as indicated)
from the date of grant provided that the required monthly savings are
maintained until then.
