Finance Magnates Launches the Barcelona Trading Conference in July

FX industry news hub offers its first event for professionals working with digital assets.

The Barcelona Trading Conference takes place 10-11th July 2019 at the Barcelona CCIB (Barcelona International Convention Centre), the largest convention venue in Southern Europe. Sessions will be led by top industry names such as Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize, Miko Matsumura, Co-Founder of Evercoin, and Yoni Assia, Founder and CEO of eToro. There will also be a keynote speech by Samantha Barrass, Chief Executive Officer of the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

This event is the first produced by Ultimate Fintech and Finance Magnates to focus on the adoption of digital assets at an institutional level. This team is already well-known for their series of iFX EXPOs and for the London Summit, the FX industry’s premier convention. +2000 retail brokers, investment managers, banks, liquidity providers, and financial technology companies are expected to attend, bringing together the top influencers and decision makers from every segment of the crypto economy.

Finance Magnates CEO Michael Greenberg emphasized the need for a conference dedicated to institutional crypto trading, saying, “I have been a blockchain evangelist for many years, and this conference is a sign that the crypto industry is reaching a new stage of development, where it can move past speculation and become a core methodology for institutional level financial services.”

BTC2019 has received strong support from the government of Catalunya, and Pere Aragonès, the Catalan government’s Vice President and Minister of Economy and Finance, will be on hand to provide an official address. He joins several other regional crypto supporters leading sessions in Spanish, including John Murillo, Director of Dealing Division for B2Broke. Additionally, community-driven public blockchain developer NEO Global Development is sponsoring a programming workshop in Spanish covering the use of the NEO blockchain for smart contracts.

BTC 2019 features two days packed with sessions offering insider perspectives on the evolving cryptocurrency marketplace, including key topics such as stablecoins, tokenized CFDs, institutional adoption, and algo trading.
