Will Manchester United's Public Stock Improve with Erik Tan Hag's Hiring?

Erik Ten Hag is going to put pen to paper, as he has agreed to make a four-year deal with Manchester United. The deal continues as he tries to assemble the backroom staff, but he is unsure if he is going to keep the hero of hat-tricks, Cristiano Ronaldo. He is going to be searching for some backroom support who will support him and he is also expected to bring his assistant with him.

His assistant is Mitchell Van Der Gaag, but he also wants someone else who knows the club very well. It would seem that Robin Van Persie is going to be offered the job here, but he is probably not going to be staying in Holland as he has family commitments.

Dutch Season

There are around five games left in the Dutch season and it would seem that Ajax are four-points clear of the top. Ten Hag is not going to comment on his thoughts or his position until the season is truly over. He also needs to talk with some Dutch journalists about the issue as well. Ten Hag has said that he is going to be involved with the decision regarding the future of Ronaldo, who currently has a year left on his contract.

He did come up with a hat trick on Sunday, much to the enjoyment of those who like to wage money on sports betting, but some feel as though he should leave as he is not going to be very suited to the type of style that Ten Hag is likely to impose.

That being said, Ten Hag is yet to decide what he wants to do. Ten Hag has said that he has found a place with less energetic players, with Dusan Tadic having once been a key man over at Ajax, so it is entirely possible that he will hope to accommodate the Player of the Year.

Is the Stock going to be Impacted?

So with Erik Tan Hag’s hiring, is the stock going to improve for Manchester United? There is a high chance that the stock will go up with the hire because the new hire is going to give them a breath of fresh air and it may even put them back on track when it comes to winning a championship. That being said, if his primary goal does end up being to build a new team, or to let a superstar like Ronaldo go then this could have detrimental consequences.

Right now it would be a safe bet to say that the stock for the team is going to rocket as there is currently a lot of positive movement, but it would not be surprising if the stock did stay this way as the team have a lot of changes to be had and in the eyes of the public this may not be a good thing. Only time will tell what the future holds but right now it looks like there are uncertain, yet hopefully positive times ahead for the team, especially with their public stock.
