Too Late to Short - Too Early to Go Long?

As a rule I never try and judge the rest of the week on the markets on a Monday, Brexit or not. But today we are getting a peek at the agendas.

The problem we have as far as trading is that it is kind of too late to short and too early to go long – or is it?  FTSE may just hang around the 6,000 ish region which it has done for months 6,000/6250 ish and  I think the GBP against the dollar and the Euro might have seen the worst of it, at least in the short term anyway… having said that, it is much too early to even think about going long on the FTSE for the medium to long term, it can break below 6,000 and take us down to 5,500 ish …I think the S&P and DJIA have probably seen the worst of the fall, provided DJIA holds 17,400 on the close today … if it does, I would go long on S&P and wall street. If 17,400 breaks we are potentially looking at going down to 17,000 DJIA.

Are we actually going to leave the EU? The chances are we are but too early to say what will transpire in the next few weeks and months. Could we have another referendum? We could, but very unlikely I think.  My main concern and what I am looking out for is if the central bankers are going to punish us for our vote by hitting down on the FTSE and the Sterling even further and watching the action today it seems they might be done with that scenario at least for now.

The market action tomorrow will most certainly bring more clarity for a more defined direction , I will not be putting any trades in today in any event. I do not open new positions on Mondays as a rule and it is too early to judge the direction.

I have been asked a number of times which political party I support etc. Considering a large number of members of the parliament are central banking puppets, how can I possibly support any of them? – Except Corbyn of course whom they have not been able to buy, manipulate and manoeuvre – so they try and use any opportunity to bring him down … and by the way, all the shadow minsters who just resigned , they are not friends of the people but mercenaries and the enemies of the labour party and Britain in my opinion. Corbyn is surrounded with too many mercenaries to be able to execute what he wants and I think he was fooled by his enemies – dressed as friends – to make his position on EU – STAY IN . When Corbyn came on the scene, I said to myself, I am going to vote for the first time in many years, he is the man ! but then watching the mercenaries surrounding him I gave up being interested. Mind you, after holding his ground on the leadership yesterday I am beginning to see the possibility that he might just get in, Cameron and even Boris and the rest of those people work for the central banking agenda … the last thing they are interested in, is people of Britain. In short,  I don’t support any party, I support certain people and if I ever had to choose to support one person in British politics and that would be only and only be based on honesty – it would have to be Corbyn. He might just get me to vote again which I have not done since Tony Blair fooled everyone with his new labour promises. I have ever voted labour once and that was for Tony Blair … I might just as well had voted for Lucifer himself.

All in my humble opinion and no investment advice intended.

see you tomorrow

Andre
