Kavango Resources (LSE:KAV) has successfully secured a US$5 million convertible loan note facility from a consortium of Zimbabwean pension funds to support its mining activities in Zimbabwe. The investment will be directed toward the development of mines and the construction of a gold processing plant. This milestone represents a key element of Kavango’s broader strategy to enhance local shareholder involvement and highlights the favorable business environment in Zimbabwe. The funds will be released in three tranches and can be converted into shares on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange, strengthening Kavango’s market footprint and fostering deeper engagement with stakeholders.
