Budget deficit in the US stood at $215.20 billion in February. The US had posted a budget surplus of $49.20 billion in the prior month.
Japanese domestic corporate goods price index advanced as expected in February
The domestic corporate goods price index rose 2.50% on a YoY basis in February, in Japan, compared to an advance of 2.70% in the previous month. Market expectation was for the domestic corporate goods price index to advance 2.50%.
Japanese net employment outlook remained steady in 2Q 2018
In 2Q 2018, the net employment outlook in Japan remained unchanged at 24.00%.
Japanese machine tool orders rose in February
The preliminary machine tool orders climbed 39.50% on a YoY basis, in February, in Japan. Machine tool orders had recorded a rise of 48.80% in the prior month.
Japanese domestic corporate goods price index remained unchanged in February
On a monthly basis, the domestic corporate goods price index remained unchanged in Japan, in February, less than market expectations for a rise of 0.20%. The domestic corporate goods price index had registered a rise of 0.30% in the prior month.
Chinese employment outlook remained steady in 2Q 2018
Employment outlook in China remained unchanged at 8.00% in 2Q 2018.
