US CB consumer confidence index dropped in June
The CB consumer confidence index eased to 126.40 in June, in the US, compared to market expectations of a fall to a level of 128.00. The CB consumer confidence index had registered a revised reading of 128.80 in the prior month.
US Richmond Fed manufacturing index surprisingly rose in June
The Richmond Fed manufacturing index rose unexpectedly to a level of 20.00 in the US, in June, compared to market expectations of a drop to 15.00. In the prior month, the Richmond Fed manufacturing index had recorded a level of 16.00.
US S&P/Case-Shiller composite index of 20 metropolitan areas rose less than expected in April
In April, the seasonally adjusted S&P/Case-Shiller composite index of 20 metropolitan areas registered a rise of 0.20% on a MoM basis in the US, lower than market expectations for an advance of 0.40%. The S&P/Case-Shiller composite index of 20 metropolitan areas had registered a revised rise of 0.40% in the previous month.
Chinese industrial profits (YoY) rose in May
On an annual basis, industrial profits (YoY) recorded a rise of 21.10% in China, in May. Industrial profits (YoY) had advanced 21.90% in the prior month.
