UK manufacturing PMI recorded an unexpected rise in June
The manufacturing PMI in the UK unexpectedly climbed to a level of 54.40 in June, compared to market expectations of a fall to a reading of 54.00. The index had registered a revised level of 54.30 in the prior month.
Euro-zone manufacturing PMI eased in June
The final manufacturing PMI in the Euro-zone dropped to a level of 54.90 in June, compared to a reading of 55.50 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the index to drop to a level of 55.00.
German manufacturing PMI slid in June
The final manufacturing PMI in Germany registered a drop to a level of 55.90 in June, compared to a level of 56.90 in the previous month. Market anticipation was for the index to fall to a level of 55.90.
US Markit manufacturing PMI dropped in June
In the US, the final manufacturing PMI recorded a drop to a level of 55.40 in June, higher than market expectations of a fall to a reading of 54.60. The preliminary figure had recorded a fall to 54.60.
US ISM manufacturing activity index advanced surprisingly in June
The ISM manufacturing activity index in the US recorded an unexpected rise to a level of 60.20 in June, compared to market expectations of a drop to a level of 58.50. The index had recorded a reading of 58.70 in the prior month.
