UK retail sales advanced in October
In the UK, retail sales rose by 1.20% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a revised rise of 1.40% in the previous month. Markets were expecting retail sales to record a flat reading.
Euro-zone consumer confidence index dropped in November
In the Euro-zone, the consumer confidence index registered a drop to a reading of -17.60 in November, compared to a level of -15.50 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the consumer confidence index to record a drop to a level of -17.70.
German PPI declined as expected in October
In Germany, the producer price index (PPI) fell 0.70% on a YoY basis in October, at par with market expectations and compared to a drop of 1.00% in the previous month.
