UK manufacturing PMI unexpectedly rose in November
In the UK, the flash manufacturing PMI unexpectedly climbed to a level of 55.20 in November, compared to a reading of 53.70 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to record a drop to a level of 50.50.
UK services PMI dropped less than expected in November
In the UK, the preliminary services PMI fell to a level of 45.80 in November, compared to a reading of 51.40 in the prior month. Market anticipations were for the services PMI to fall to 42.50.
Euro-zone manufacturing PMI declined less than anticipated in November
In the Euro-zone, the preliminary manufacturing PMI eased to a level of 53.60 in November, compared to a level of 54.80 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to drop to a level of 53.10.
German manufacturing PMI fell less than market forecast in November
In Germany, the flash manufacturing PMI fell to a level of 57.90 in November, compared to a reading of 58.20 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to record a fall to 56.50.
US manufacturing PMI unexpectedly rose in November
In the US, the preliminary manufacturing PMI recorded an unexpected rise to a level of 56.70 in November, compared to a reading of 53.40 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to record a fall to a level of 53.00.
