UK three month moving average unemployment rate rose less than anticipated in October
In the UK, the three month moving average unemployment rate registered a rise to 4.90% in October, compared to a level of 4.80% in the prior month. Markets were expecting the three-month moving average ILO unemployment rate to rise to 5.10%.
UK average earnings including bonus rose more than expected in October
In the UK, the average earnings including bonus advanced 2.70% on a YoY basis in October, compared to a revised rise of 1.40% in the previous month. Markets were expecting the average earnings including bonus to record an advance of 2.30%.
UK claimant count rate advanced in November
In the UK, the claimant count rate advanced to 7.40% in November, compared to a revised rate of 7.20% in the prior month.
US industrial production advanced more than expected in November
In the US, industrial production registered a rise of 0.40% on a MoM basis in November, compared to a revised rise of 0.90% in the prior month. Markets were expecting industrial production to record an advance of 0.30%.
US manufacturing production climbed more than expected in November
In the US, manufacturing production recorded a rise of 0.80% on a MoM basis in November, compared to a revised rise of 1.10% in the previous month. Markets were expecting manufacturing production to record an advance of 0.30%.
