Euro-zone retail sales rose less than expected in October
In the Euro-zone, retail sales advanced 0.10% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a revised fall of 0.10% in the previous month. Markets were expecting retail sales to rise 0.20%.
German factory orders unexpectedly dropped in October
In Germany, factory orders unexpectedly declined 3.70% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a rise of 0.20% in the previous month.
US private sector employment climbed by less than forecasted in November
In the US, private sector employment rose by 103.00K in November, compared to a revised level of 106.00K in the prior month. Markets were expecting the ADP employment to rise by 130.00K.
US MBA mortgage applications advanced in the week ended 01 December 2023
In the US, the MBA mortgage applications rose 2.80% in the week ended 01 December 2023, compared to a rise of 0.30% in the prior week.
