21st Century Technologies (LSE:C21) continued to rise on the London Stock Exchange today following the release of its final results for the year ending December 31, 2011. The year end results were so strong that the company has declared a one-off payment to shareholders of 3.5pps. Only a fortnight ago the company share price rose over 11% on the awarding of a £3.3 million contract by the Swedish company Arriva. Share price was at 19p by early afternoon today.
Financial Highlights of the Report
- Total revenues increased by 29% to £14 million.
- Operating profits increased 72% to £1.5 million.
- After tax profits were up 89% to £1.2 million
- Cash on hand at year end was £2.8 million, up from £1.1 million at previous year end.
- Earnings per share more than doubled from 0.61p last year to 1.31p.
