Today the The Brazilian Stock exchange (BOVESPA) operates special trading hours and trading in the markets opened at 01:00 pm.
The Central Bank releases its Focus Report and the Ministry of development presents the balance of trade for the week.
In the USA, the Commerce Department publishes the retail sales numbers, durable and non-durable good. It will also release import and export numbers, which might give us an idea of inflationary trends in the North American market. The Department of energy publishes the weekly petroleum stock numbers as well.
I have mentioned Eike Batista the mega entrepreneur a few times; well he has a few problems it seems with LLX Logística (BOV:LLXL3). LLX Logística (BOV:LLXL3), has announced the cancellation of a contract with Subsea 7. This contract was originally announced about nine months ago between Subsea 7 and LLX Logística.
