If memory serves, the Prospectus's for those Bonds clearly stated that in the event of a bankruptcy, said Notes would remain as an obligation of the Holdco (WMI Estate), whereas the supporting Assets would be transferred along with the Banking Sub., to the entity that purchases said Bank, ie JPM.
