Blue Coat Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BCSI), a leading provider of Web security and WAN optimization solutions, today announced the completion of its acquisition by an investor group led by private equity investment firm Thoma Bravo, LLC. Under the terms of the agreement, Blue Coat shareholders will be entitled to receive $25.81 in cash per share of common stock they currently possess. With the closing of the transaction, Blue Coat stock will cease to trade on the NASDAQ Stock Market at the close of market today and will no longer be a publicly traded company.
