I have no position here. I saw they filed the K today because the share price drop triggered an alert. Nominal top line growth.

Not intimate with this company but I think the main headwinds are the below-average management (family-owned) and competition from "faux kefirs" because no one is really sure what the hell a kefir is. It's not explicitly defined.

Kinda sits in a weird nexus, too. Milk consumption is down but yogurt is up. Makes getting a read on growth a bit tricky.

GT's put out a Coco Kefir (via an acquisition) a few weeks back, and if track history is any guide, they'll roll LWAY. A rising tide could raise all ships but I'm not inclined to wait around on this stock without overt trend data.

I took a small position based on your comparison to CELH. 2016 was disappointing, but at least it's profitable, with a decent balance sheet. Hopefully it will grow over time.

Anyone out there lurking, following this stock? Expected a rebound before now.

Oh well I don't own it anymore, my post with the charts was last year.

I'm not really interested in how political types express themselves making their own weather so to speak etc...

To me it would be like hearing about how two people argued on a housewife talk show or soap opera during the day. Or how there was an argument with some customer at the returns desk at the store mart or something. Or in the evening people talking at the cops on the show or something. Perhaps even like trolls on boards flaming away.

Charts are gonna move regardless if it has a political backdrop or not...

I’ve never seen people so unhinged. I did expect the heroin addicts in Portland to go crazy, but I never thought I’d read about a CEO telling shareholders to sell their stock, if they supported a Presidential candidate that didn’t mesh with her version of the world.

Ever since Election Day, shares of LWAY have been spiraling lower. On the 11th, CEO Julie Smolyansky, tweeted this nonsense.

"Hey shareholders if you a rape apologist, sexist, racist, demagogue, bigot, feel free to no longer own shares"

Apparently, given the selloff from nearly $18.00 to currently 10.80 a share, many shareholders accepted her invitation!

Been a fan of their kefir for years. Invested last month and now things are heating up! "Invest in what you like", I say!

I think the bottom is in here around $9-$9.30.

hey LIFEWAY, you guys need to market your kefir more, the grocery stores i've been in don't know anything about it. Still looking for that water based kefir, too. When i'm looking, near the yogurt area, i sometimes tell people about the Kefir. One lady decided to try it. You're welcomed. ; ) she'll probably tell two people who will tell two people and so forth and so on.

Guessing the ad during that awards show didn't help too much. People likely to drink kefir are not likely to watch that type of programming. Just a thought. Maybe advertise on some nature/outdoor/healthful shows. We don't like to watch over-inflated egos all puffed up.

This type of kefir is fantastic. The raspberry and the pomegranate flavs are delish.

Supposedly more healthful than yogurt.

Still looking for the non-milk kefir (water kefir), but can't seem to find it at the regulary grocery stores. Can't wait to try that type.

Built up a position over the last few weeks. I had to build slowly so as not to spike the price. It is one problem with thinly traded stocks.

I drink this stuff several times a week - love it.
