The list is based on 7.4 million responses to the Great Place to
Work survey, which represents the experiences of 20 million
employees worldwide. The survey assesses employee satisfaction in
key areas, from credibility and respect to fairness and
camaraderie.
“Being named one of the best workplaces in the world is a
tremendous achievement. Thank you to our team members around the
world for living our values every day,” said Agilent President and
CEO Padraig McDonnell. “I’m proud that Agilent is a company where
top talent comes to work, where high-performing teams support each
other, and where everyone has opportunities to grow and
develop.”
In the last year, Agilent also was named a top employer by
Forbes, one of America’s greatest workplaces by Newsweek, the ninth
best company to work for in Europe, and a Best Workplace in
Asia.
Agilent’s values of trust, respect, teamwork, and integrity
create a positive environment that enables leaders, managers,
teams, and individual contributors to work together to achieve
outstanding results for Agilent customers. The company also
provides numerous special programs that enrich the workplace
experience, including:
Well-being and belonging
Agilent provides paid time off for employees to volunteer, an
activity closely associated with well-being. Many Agilent
workplaces offer fitness and sports programs, such as pickleball in
the United States, Baduanjin qigong in China, and cricket in India.
Each site offers something unique, from social clubs and musical
bands to volunteer outings and even curated film festivals. Agilent
Employee Network Groups (ENGs) also offer important ways for
individuals to make meaningful connections and build supportive
working relationships.
Professional development and growth
Agilent promotes a growth mindset and continuous learning
through its comprehensive set of educational programs and
resources. Agilent leadership also sponsors an annual competition,
where teams in every division have an opportunity to be recognized
for innovative work in their respective fields.
Mentorship is ingrained in the Agilent culture through informal
and formal channels. One early career professional observed its
impact: “When I joined Agilent, I was struck by the culture of
mentorship. People really cared about my development, and I’ve
already had a handful of mentors in just a few years.”
Community and volunteerism
Agilent supports employees’ charitable giving by matching their
donations up to $25,000 per year. Agilent also pays employees who
volunteer outside of working hours $25 per hour, which can be
donated to any eligible charity. Tens of thousands of charitable
organizations are eligible, from local little league teams and
animal shelters to humanitarian relief and environmental
organizations.
