The winners of this year's Primavera Excellence Awards are: -- Allegheny Energy (Greensburg, PA) was the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award for Power, Energy and Process category. Primavera enabled the Allegheny Energy Hatfield's Ferry Power Station project to be completed 17 days early and under budget by eight percent, helping increase profitability by nearly $4 million. -- AMTRAK Engineering (Philadelphia, PA) was the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction category. AMTRAK's implementation of an Enterprise Project Management System utilizing Primavera P6, and the web-based version of Primavera has given its team members access and collaboration abilities that are critical to identify and solve project issues. This has enabled AMTRAK Engineering to meet the goals that federal, state, and local agencies have placed on the management of capital programs. -- Alstom TMG Gas Turbines (Baden, Switzerland) was the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award for the Manufacturing category.
