Director Shareholding

The Company was notified yesterday that Tim Stokeld, Non-Executive Director, on the 21 December 2010, transferred 85,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the issued share capital of the company to his SIPP at a price of 69.5 pence per Ordinary Share. Tim Stokeld remains interested in 100,000 Ordinary shares in the Company representing 0.25% of the Company's issued share capital.

ATH Resources was listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in June 2004 and operates three surface coal mines in Scotland; Skares Road, in East Ayrshire, Glenmuckloch in Dumfries and Galloway and Muir Dean in Fife.
