DEPARTING HEAD OF AIM BECOMES 
                              CONSULTANT TO OFEX

OFEX plc is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Brickles, currently
Head of AIM at the London Stock Exchange, as a consultant to the OFEX Board. 

Mr Brickles will be assisting in the development, expansion and promotion of
OFEX both domestically and internationally upon joining the market in this role
in mid January 2004.

Mr Brickles brings a wealth of experience, particularly from his time at AIM,
which has gone from strength to strength under the leadership. Following his
expert promotion of the market, over 100 new companies joined AIM in 2002, more
floats than any other European market. 

Commenting on the appointment, Jonathan Jenkins, Joint MD of OFEX, said:

"Simon's expertise, experience, contacts and enthusiasm within the smaller
companies markets is well respected both in the UK and abroad, but at no place
more so than at OFEX. We have worked alongside Simon during his time with AIM,

result of Simon's stewardship of the considerable AIM community."
