Aeropostale currently faces stiff competition from its peers such as Abercombie & Fitch and American Eagle.
Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX): The stock has been downgraded by Sanford C. Bernstein to Market Perform. However, the company has some good news to offer as it received approval for its new precision Spectra Spinal Cord Stimulator System from European authorities. Goldman Sachs now rates the stock at Sell while Canaccord Genuity downgraded the stock to Hold. On the other hand, the company decided to raise its internet prices by $5 per month. It is, however, keeping the phone and video prices intact. The company also stated that it had not increased the internet prices in last one decade. The company stock is currently trading at $14.49, up 2.33 percent from its previous close of $14.16. The stock had opened at $14.57 and has traded in the range of $14.43 and $14.65 in the current trading session. Cablevision stock commands the Price Earnings ratio of 21.84. Cablevision Systems is a media and telecommunications company.
Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX): The company received notice from SEC for its CEO’s Facebook post and Netflix is likely to face scrutiny for its alleged violation of rules. SEC is expected to recommend civil injunction or cease and desist case against the company. Another bad news for the company is its rating downgrade from Caris & Co., which now rates the stock as Sell. The rating cut is due to the company’s new deal with Disney, which is not expected to come into effect until 2016. The analyst is of the view that the deal is more beneficial to Disney than to Netflix. The stock is currently trading at $88.84, up 3.10 percent from its previous close of $86.17. It has traded in the range of $87.57 and $89.78 in the current trading session. However, the stock is trading above its 20 days moving average price of $88.49 and 50 days moving average price of $87.07. Netflix is trading at the Price Earnings ratio of 112.42.
