As a result of continued depressed commodity prices, management has impaired $790,000 or 100% of the Company’s capitalized mineral property option costs as at December 31, 2013.

From .60-.70 THEN to .15 NOW!

BTW, there was WAY MORE colors in that mailer than JUST FOUR!

and the hype:

Ford's gonna buy SLCO (because Toyota bought an Argentine mine).

Several lithium players are buying other lithium players.

ROC failed in a bid for Talison so now it will buy SLCO.

Six auto companies competing for lithium batteries assures this mining company will create wealth.

POTUS says 1M electric vehicles will be on US roads by 2015... or else!

Both major political parties back the move to lithium power so SLCO is a lock to make you rich.

~Open this report to learn how to turn $10K into $162.5K on this American Success Story (SLCO).~ (because TSLA soared to a 677% profit in one year!)

For REAL, no ship! (Pay no attention to the fact that the $10K has become $2500 in 3 months.)

LOL... watching the Olympics and just thought I'd check to see how SLCO had done since I received the same P&D rag in an old junk mail pile headed to the trash tomorrow!

And yet, is there something to the following that I earlier posted that you DID NOT UNDERSTAND?

"SLCO was suspended for the maximum 10 days by the SEC. Period.

That is the end of SLCO. It now trades on the greysheets and will never leave. It will slowly drop to less than a penny in price with very little volume or just simple get REVOKED. As the SEC continues to investigate, the probability exists for SLCO and its officers/directors to get charged with securities fraud by the SEC.

To not understand this is just plain silly"

So obviously, one who likes to pick fights, the SEC can take further action than a mere ten day suspension. Stop arguing with me. I clearly called this co a " terd" , and certainly have a disdain fir OTC scams, I learned the hard way. Go fight real crime! I just did so this am on another, what were you doing? There's plenty of pump scams that aren't winged to the greys, go get em!

Tell that to Janice, because it seems she may have a different take:

This was Your statement just now: "The SEC could NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, permanently halted SLCO."

My question to Janice on this board within the past hour:

"I stated that had the SEC suspected the Co was lying to them about the mailer, they could if taken steps further than just a suspension.

Am I wrong in my thinking? "

Her response:

"They still may. It normally takes at least a year, and often more, for them to bring an enforcement action"

What?

no!

The SEC could NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, permanently halted SLCO. They are limited to a maximum 10 days of suspension. The SEC suspended scam company SLCO for the maximum 10 days.

To not know this is just plain silly and leads to all loss of credibility.

Not defending this terd, just stating a fact. It is trading, and was not halted. The SEC works closely w FINRA, and could of easily had them permanently halt it.

Genius: here's the facts:

You just said this was my statement:

""only 10 days" by the SEC was actually a good thing for scam company SLCO "

Now you say this out of context snid bit is " what I said"pp

"but the SEC obviously bought their story, so kudos to the Co."

Correct me if I'm wrong but those two sentences look nothing alike.

And I guess you overlooked every other post here I made saying that OTCs are not to be trusted? Wow
👍️0
236T568 236T568 11 years ago
So, when you stated that scam company SLCO was "not suspended", which is an absolutely false statement, what exactly did you mean?

They are NOT suspended, story bought

236T568 236T568 11 years ago
So......

tell us again why you claim that the SEC bought the story of scam company SLCO?

What happened that made you think that the SEC bought the story?

Wow. The denial pr by the co was pretty darn moving. I've read a lot of weak Garbage pathological denials of " any knowledge of a third party promotion" , but I must say this was the most believable. Is it truly truthful in pure truth??? We will never know, but the SEC obviously bought their story, so kudos to the Co. For that. And if they didn't know, that would really suck, but.... I am ambivalent on believing it because, I don't believe any OTC management , period. Nothin personal to the management here, just the way it is.

BOPT wasn't suspended by the SEC though; it was only halted by FINRA. The result was pretty much the same.

But please,

how you stated that getting suspended for "only 10 days" by the SEC was actually a good thing for scam company SLCO

FINRA rarely halts OTC issues. They can only do so in the case of an "extraordinary event" affecting settlement and clearance. While they can extend a halt for an additional ten days, it's understood that when the settlement and clearance issue has been resolved, trading will resume.

That happened with BOPT.
👍️0
risk on risk on 11 years ago
Ok, and just to clarify, FINRA can NOT indefinitely ( until further notice) suspend a symbol?
👍️0
janice shell janice shell 11 years ago
They still may. It normally takes at least a year, and often more, for them to bring an enforcement action.

Where's the explanatory letter? I don't see it as "news".
👍️0
risk on risk on 11 years ago
I stated that had the SEC suspected the Co was lying to them about the mailer, they could if taken steps further than just a suspension.

Am I wrong in that thinking?

I also stated I trust no OTC management, but that their explanation letter seemed more believable than most any I had read. Then I got dissected, and subsequently....prosecuted by just making an observation.

👍️0
janice shell janice shell 11 years ago
Nothing unusual about that. Probably they asked FINRA for trade data. In these releases they often acknowledge help from all kinds of other agencies, here and abroad.

There was nothing in any way "different" about this suspension.
👍️0
risk on risk on 11 years ago
Example: from the suspension list, please see last sentence, looks like a partnership to me.

Source: http://www.sec.gov/litigation/suspensions/2013/34-71001.pdf

"The Commission temporarily suspended trading in Aden due to a lack of current and accurate information about the company because it has not filed certain periodic reports with the Commission and because of questions that have been raised about the accuracy and adequacy of information concerning the market for Aden stock.

The SEC acknowledges the assistance of FINRA in this matter."

The SEC works closely w FINRA, and could of easily had them permanently halt it.

Not really. When, exactly, have you seen that happen? I never have, and I've been following SEC suspensions for a very long time.

The SEC can, by law, suspend trading in an issue for ten days, no more. The stock then resumes trading on the Grey Market, as this one has done.

It's a suspension story just like every other suspension story.
👍️0
BigBake1 BigBake1 11 years ago
They CANNOT, it is that simple, the CFR doesn't give them the authority to do so. They must comply with the CFR in regards to a DUE PROCESS.

Why is it that one cannot take the rules and laws established for shareholder protection for what they are? The regulators lack the authority to REVOKE or permentantly HALT a security without a ruling in their favor. It requires a court to take away shareholder rights.
👍️0
risk on risk on 11 years ago
"FINRA can simply "Revoke" or "Halt" permanently "

Would they also be able to indefinitely ( means : without end) suspend a stock? The answer is yes.

Why is it no one can take yes for answer here?
👍️0
BigBake1 BigBake1 11 years ago
False, because of "Due Process" in accordance with the CFR, the SEC nor FINRA can simply "Revoke" or "Halt" permanently the trading of a security without a due process. The SEC can only issue a suspension for 10 days on this securities registration, after that the Form 211 is no longer valid leaving it on the Grey Market. In the future if a formal complaint are filed in the particular State of registration the SEC may in fact revoke the registration completely. It can be 18 months on average from opening a case to filing a complaint.

again, is there something to the FACT that the SEC can only legally suspend a stock for 10 days MAXIMUM that you DON'T UNDERSTAND?

SLCO was suspended for the maximum 10 days by the SEC. Period.

That is the end of SLCO. It now trades on the greysheets and will never leave. It will slowly drop to less than a penny in price with very little volume or just simple get REVOKED. Listen. Friend. I was simply pointing out that I had read a lot of BS stories about Cos disavowing any knowledge of a promo. This seemed more believable than most. Period!

If the SeC thought the Co was bold face lying to them they could have PERMANENTLY ( no greys) SHUT IT DOWN one way or the other ( finra, suspensions are indefinite) and prosecuted.

Think it's time to move on to another dead horse

I'm sorry, but what part of the FACT that the SEC SUSPENDED scam company SLCO for ten days and the FACT that scam company SLCO is in the greysheets and will never come out of it, DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

FINRA, how long can they suspend a stock? And would you not agree that FINRA and SEC work hand in hand? My point was / is, that if this hard mailer campaign had this Cos prints on it in any way , it would not be trading.

I'm not defending this co, what part of that don't YOU understand?
