Packaging Corporation of America is a producer of container board products and uncoated freesheet paper. It operates eight mills and 89 corrugated products plants and related facilities. It has three segments: Packaging, Paper, and Corporate and Other. Its containerboard mills produce linerboard and corrugating medium. Its corrugated products manufacturing plants produce a range of corrugated packaging products, including conventional shipping containers used to protect and transport manufactured goods, multi-color boxes and displays. In addition, it also produces packaging for meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, processed food, beverages, and other industrial and consumer products. It manufactures and sells papers, including both commodity and specialty papers, which may have custom or specialized features, such as colors, coatings, high brightness and recycled content. Its papers consist of communication papers, including cut-size office papers, and printing and converting papers.

No more shares will be available to retail investors (until they split at $400) like apple! They get nothing but headache from the retail investor and no real benefit. They want partners that can complement their weaknesses, and build their value. Look at all the MMs keeping down to gill orders. They not liking to dip into aggressive tskersp

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is a producer of containerboard and corrugated products in the United States. The Company is consisted of mills and corrugated manufacturing operations. The mill operations consists of two kraft linerboard mills located in Counce, Tennessee, and Valdosta, Georgia, and two medium mills located in Filer City, Michigan, and Tomahawk, Wisconsin. The Mills transfer the majority of their containerboard produced to PCA’s corrugated products plants. PCA’s corrugated manufacturing operations consist of 71 plants, with 41 operating as combining operations, or corrugated plants, and 30 as sheet plants; a technical and development center, six graphic design centers and a complement of packaging supplies and distribution centers. On April 14, 2011, the Company acquired Field Packaging Group. On September 10, 2011, the Company acquired Packaging Materials Company. On November 30, 2011, PCA acquired Colorado Container.
