To our Ares Shareholders,

This week, the Company successfully secured a significant financing from the US government and was recognized by the Utah Economic Council in their 2023 report to the Governor as a significant development for the state. In preparation for the construction work, Ares has been aligning its plans with the federally-backed financing and undergoing thorough evaluation and stress testing to meet the strict qualifications for the development funding.

The Company sought government funding to prevent dilution of its share structure and protect the value of shareholders' investments while also securing financing sources that are not affected by expected economic downturns that are currently impacting the industry and other junior companies. The company has been coordinating its development plans with the expected government funding timelines and successfully maintained progress despite the prolonged government process and schedules. Following the finance closing, the Company will move to accelerate its construction work and achieve its industry goals.

The Federally backed financing represents the first of two government backed financings won by the Company, with the second larger State backed financing anticipated later this year. The Company has received significant support from the State and Federal government, and established many valuable relationships which will greatly benefit its operations in the coming years.

That's the interview from where I got the info/quotes. He's making good on what he outlined there for the plans/production process so far.

He seems very excited when asked about what's going to happen in the next 6-12 months with no mention of EV batteries. Seems to be intentionally omitting that subject matter for the time being.

They are the only US producer for now. We'll see if they can keep their moat because it's easy and cheap to mine fluorspar and seems to be a readily available mineral.

Interesting although the trading volume I'm seeing on the OTC is anemic for this ticker.

Only difference is how it has just gotten better with its'

Glad you found it before I tagged you with the DD. This one is hot off the presses. They just acquired that mine a few weeks ago and are already ramping up production.

Fluorspar is a vital mineral in the EV battery that no one is talking about. 70% of fluorspar comes from China and the rest is in Mexico and South America. It's mainly used in steel and aluminum manufacturing.

The CEO said they've had big boys like Thyssen Krupp and other steel/aluminum companies calling them up and saying "we'll take all you've got". This is without the EV manufacturers. They just did a capital raise in March and he said they will be self sustaining from here on out because it's so cheap to mine and the demand is off the charts.

Yeah looks like a breakout coming.

Aureus Mining shares higher as it completes US$76mln fundraise

Aureus Mining Inc (LON:AUE, TSE:AUE) shares nudged higher as it issued a corporate update, saying its equity fundraise to bring in around US$76mln, as part of a refinacing, had completed.

In addition, its documents to change the company name to Avesoro Resources Inc have been filed and should take effect on Wednesday (December 7).

The fundraise was made up of a subscription from major shareholder and Turkish conglomerate MNG to the tune of US$60mln. The remainder came from a placing and broker option.

Also today, Aureus said its transition to an owner-operator model, as previously reported, was now complete.

Teething problems and issues with the tailings operation at the group's New Liberty mine in Liberia have meant commercial production was declared much later than anticipated.

Bu the mine is now running well, the firm has said.

Production in September was 6,000 ounces (oz) and the group is now targeting 100,000 oz in 2017 at an all-in-sustaining cost of US$845 per ounce.

Earlier this week, Aureus issued a corporate update, saying its equity fundraise, as part of a refinancing, had completed.

Aureus Mining Inc (LON:AUE, TSE:AUE) has become Avesoro Resources Inc and its stock ticker will change to 'ASO' in London and Toronto as of Monday (Dec 12).

The firm also confirmed that the change of its website address to www.avesoro.com will also take effect from Monday.

Looks like toxic financing used to pay down debt financing. downward spiral going on despite a recovering commodities market. shorting apparent along with dumping of shares. recovery percentage should be better. profit margin too slim on paper. skimming going on. gold has a way of disappearing from the shaker table ...so to speak. wonder what the value of that "waste" could be after an assay????

Prognosis: should see a recovery of pps after this first year of operation should the financing debt service be reset by Rand etc.

Risk: Take Over by Rand and others, or planned bankruptcy to grab company assets from stockholders.

OK, let's start this out. I've been following this about a year.
Gold prices have declined all during the past year slong with most commodities. Mining just commenced this late summer with first gold pour last month. Would have expected price appreciation with opening of mine, but didn't happen. Assay reports show high gold concentrations. Stock will have to climb up as gold prices are now recovering. Should get interesting when financials come out.
