I’m excited to see how it all turns out. Viskase would now have tax free income once the merger is completed. I think ENZN is way undervalued given its potential now.

$ENZN to acquire a $200 million company per hidden news at the bottom of last nights filing. Am I the only one anywhere that noticed it??

aquaspin aquaspin 2 months ago
There was hidden potential merger news at the bottom of last nights filing and no one noticed or is talking about it. Appears to be a $200 million company that is profitable on a yearly basis. $ENZN market cap is only around $14 million. Stock could easily go back to .85 imo.

Looks like $ENZN may acquire Viskase per tonight’s filing. Looks like Viskase has over $400 million in assets

$ENZN had the highest volume day in over 3 years yesterday. Hoping we see some form 4’s drop this week from directors buying. Or maybe someone knows something?

I agree. I think an insider would buy shares before they let it get delisted to the OTCQB. Wish there was a way to get this more noticed b other investors. With 60% of the stock owned by two people, it wouldn’t take a whole lot of new money to get this considerably higher imo.

The issue at hand is OTC players, lack patience, since there is nothing official from the company they move on, the company is not going to want their stock price be quoted under a dime, otherwise they will lose their QX status, so I do expect them push it back up.

aquaspin aquaspin 3 months ago
All it would take is a director to buy 100k or so shares to send it above .10 imo. I think that alone would be enough to create some decent buying interest. At least the company is slightly profitable so it’s not losing money as we wait for an acquisition to happen
👍️0
dinogreeves dinogreeves 3 months ago
It will get over dime again and if it stays here far too long, they could lose QX status.

I’ve been buying more shares down here while it’s between .07 - .08. I didn’t think the stock would get this low again. If I remember right, I think Icahns son will be taking over his businesses when he eventually passes away? I still think a deal will happen. They only want a profitable and established company to acquire. I think when a deal does happen that it will be a good one. One thing that I am liking is that no insiders or major holders are selling any stock. Also, I definitely think Couchman (10%+ shareholder) would be willing to take over the company if Icahn and board ever wanted to step down.

What do you make of this?? Normally they post a proxy statement every year to vote on the same directors every year. Will we be voting on new directors this time? I havent seen anything like this before. Maybe one of Icahns companies, or a spin off of one of the many companies that he has won proxy fights against will be going public through $ENZN?
I expect to see a lot more 8K’s drop over the coming weeks.
These next few months will be interesting!

All kinds of speculation when you have Icahn and his investment fund involved with ENZN. I don't know how Ambroxol could come into play here, I know they have some kind of future payment arrangements with Belrose, but I still think this is energy or something else. When you have Icahn involved, this is no joke, just needs patience, that's all.

Day to day fluctuation doesn't concern me at all cause I know there is no dilution also any given moment merger news can hit on this one. Also holding something similar to this one too, this has smaller float and I believe this one can go anytime soon.

With the stock being fairly thin like it is, it doesn’t take much bid wacking to drop the price down quite a bit. I’m still 100% bullish on $ENZN. People need to read between the lines to know that something is going to happen soon. There is only one reason they didn’t hold a vote last week to keep the current directors on board imo

dinogreeves dinogreeves 8 months ago
Bid whacking while the ask is 20 is not a savvy trader pattern, more like amateur, meanwhile we wait for news or merger news, whichever comes this is will run 10-20 times from here.

I figured you probably didn't own it, but laying and example. I just wanted to compare, this is sitting at a very low market cap compared to that one at 90 million market cap.
👍️0
aquaspin aquaspin 8 months ago
I don’t own any of that stock. I only mentioned it because they filed a 10-K/A just like ENZN did and it just got bought out last week. They knew that there wasn’t a need to vote on the current directors since they were going to be replaced anyways.
The 10-K/A is the biggest clue that something is about to happen with ENZN imo.

I just looked at ASX*C. Market cap over 90 million dollars, cash on hand just below 7 million dollars, but they have debt.

Hello Joyce, still digging. ENZN was a great company, something went wrong. This is very good read what took place and how Ambroxol could still be relevant with ENZN.

Just pay attention to the link below (Joyce) and aquaspin, one of them is going to be right. All I know this is severely undervalued at the current status it is in, deep discrepancy in market valuation. I am still digging into the bread crumbs that Joyce was alluding to, that drug (Ambroxol) is ancient, I know for a fact that ENZN has their hand in it over a decade ago, but I don't know where it is leading to, it looks like a miracle science for Parkinson's Disease. Trying to find more information to see where the bread crumbs lead to. QX tier just a tad below Nasdaq, penny stock exempt because of shareholder equity and assets, 45 million dollars cash on hand, deep, deep NOL's of over 100 million dollars, merger news will send this.

$ENZN filed a 10-K/A which basically means that there isn’t a need to vote on the current directors this year, meaning they will most likely be replaced by directors from a company that is acquired by $ENZN. There is no doubt that Icahn will want a profitable Nasdaq level company to utilize Enzon’s NOL’s.
Take a look at $ASXC’s filings. It also filed a 10-K/A the same time that Enzon did because it knew its directors were going to be replaced this year so there was no need to vote to keep them on board. Well yesterday ASXC announced it was being bought out.

I haven’t had such a good feeling about a stock ever before. It’s crazy the potential that $ENZN has and especially when they think something is going to happen soon since they aren’t holding a vote to keep the current directors on board! I’m actually kind of surprised that more people aren’t catching onto this big hint that something is going to happen soon.

ENZN also is now compliant with OTCQX again. They only needed to have a closing bid of .10 or higher for 10 days, which has already been done now. It’s definitely going to be a summer to remember here imo. Good luck to all of us here!

I don't know that it is a target. You posted about ENZN which is on my favorites list. It doesn't get many posts. I posted and your reply to me was about energy as a target for the shell. I did a quick google search based on my historic knowledge and found the recent link to Ambroxol. Maybe you should do some more research. I'm not going to do it for you.

I am ancient too, very ancient since 1986, when I was buying stocks through Lehman Brothers and pay 700 dollars fees for just 1000 shares. Use to look at stock symbols in fractions in the LA Times. This is not my first rodeo.

No, we are on the same page, I thought you said NOL's can be utilized on any sector, yes if it is energy they can't utilize the NOL's but if it is biotech they can utilize it. But also read the filings that they don't plan on using the NOL's on their last annual report, but also in discussion with acquisition targets but nothing has been determined yet. Also what makes you think this could be the acquisition target?

I think you're not really comprehending my posts. I am very familiar with the history of Enzon. I will wait to see what developments occur. I just understand that Energy=no NOLS. Biotech=NOLS valuable.

I like to keep track of stocks I've traded over the years. And certainly ones that I feel were not treated well by activist investors. And if you review my post history, you'd know that waiting a few months is not scary to me. I've traded stocks over years. I'm ancient..

OK From my perspective Enzon was fairly cash rich for a biotech before Icahn. When he came on board he asked the company to use their cash to buy back shares. While they did so, short interest increased and the share price dropped. Then when they had spent much of the cash they had, it was harder to fund research. There were a few special dividends to shareholders but they did not make up for the gutting of the company. And I believe China was involved somewhere along the line. Anyway if there's not a chance that Ambroxal is the target company going forward and the ENZN NOLS are not utilized then there should be really strong grounds for any existing ENZN shareholders to file a lawsuit if any are left.

Good luck! You'll need it.

He sold it for 300 million didn't he? Nothing came after that, if you are shareholder from when it was trading on Nasdaq, you should forward that question to the current management and ask them like you are asking me. Who knows, maybe he did his research and saw the ENZN with the previous management and their science wasn't going anywhere, these activists investors do their own research, not sure if it was a mistake or not, but they sold the assets for 300 million dollars, where is that money and where is the science. Biotech are hard one for sure, I personally love biotechs with promising science and I don't know enough about ENZN to know what his motive was to kill this former biotech, but based on the filings looks like they stopped the trials.

joyceschoice joyceschoice 9 months ago
Thanks for the reply. It doesn't excite me because he killed a biotech with interesting research and well here we are. He is 91. I wonder whatever happened to the ENZN assets he sold.

Energy maybe. But I would think the NOLS would apply here.
👍️0
dinogreeves dinogreeves 9 months ago
I think it will be energy related, that's my personal opinion, all I know is this shell has 45 million dollars in the coffers, it should at least be 45 million dollars, will it get there in due time, all depends on the insiders, if they feel their shell is undervalued based on the cash alone, they will buy, this ticker needs to be above 10 cents for 30 days straight to not lose their tier status, so that means, no reverse split in sight. Also the puzzling thing for me is why change the dates on the annuals, if there was nothing in the works, probably the merger candidate requested for the changes because it coincides with theirs, the interesting part is NOL's, but I am not sure if a different sector privately held company can use the NOL's, my understanding is, in order to use the NOL's the private entity has to be in the same sector as ENZN was (Biotech). The current CEO is definitely not in the sector, but my guess is energy, it is more aligned with Icahn enterprises, but again who know what the plan is. The puzzling part for me is, he is 91 years of age, what is the motivation where does he take it from here.

joyceschoice joyceschoice 9 months ago
There was a time when I followed certain activist investors many years ago. Icahn was one when he took a shine to Enzon. You would have to go back many years for that. I wasn't very happy with his activism. He didn't help shareholders. He gutted the company's research assets and sold them for a peanuts after he had encouraged them to use all of their cash to buy back stock. He created the shell where there was a company. Just curious what you feel will happen now.

There's more I could post but I'm waiting for the reveal if there is one.

Well, I have known ENZN when it was trading on Nasdaq a while, while back. Just a few months ago I was scouting through the OTC markets and saw an 8K, read it and then read their 10Q and 10Q, I said, Wow!!! at the time it was very low volume hovering around 7-9 cents. To me that was a big surprise, I usually look for low market cap stocks with deep, deep value, this definitely also stood out for me, Icahn owns close to 35 million shares, maybe more but undisclosed/non beneficial, I also saw that the directors at helm have experience in energy, also saw that they need to keep the stock above 10 cents to keep QX tier, also saw that they are currently in negotiations with an acquisition. About a month ago, I did a Google search about shells with money in the coffers, what I found was that this kind of merger is one of the best for shell plays, 45 million dollars in the bank in the OTC as a shell is a rarity to be honest, I have only seen SPAC companies in the range of 200-250 dollars in a trust account, but to see this in the OTC truly a rarity. I have been in some of Icahn plays myself, the first one I got in was RAI*L back in 2005, but he is 91 years old now, so who know what his plan is, all I know his investment fund has a good size position here. I also noticed based on the last filings that they plan on changing their annual report date, that tells me maybe something is coming as far as merger. I have yet to research on the directors at the helm. How do you know this ticker?
