The APES have never been scammed here. They just got enamored with 2 struggling tickers 4 years ago and believed then and now that the entire investment world revolves around a couple of struggling meme stock tickers. The APES are actually a huge part of the problem with AMC because they vigorously opposed Adam Aron's wise attempt in mid-2021 to reduce or eliminate AMC's huge debt load by seeking authorization to issue and sell more common shares at a time when AMC's share price had been manipulated up to ridiculous inflated values in the $47.50 - $60.00 range pre-reverse split (RS), which now equates with $475 - $600 post-reverse split in today's share price. AA could have sold relatively few shares at that level and drastically reduce AMC's unworkable debt load or eliminated it entirely without much serious dilution. But the APES stupidly opposed the issuance of any more common shares, falsely believing that there would be another major short squeeze, which has not happened and will not happen again. So. AA had to do the workaround a year later with the issuance of the APE preferred shares at much lower prices, which caused huge dilution, coupled with the 1-for10 RS, and the rest is history. The APES brought is all on themselves and have not been scammed. AMC would be in a far better position today had the debt been dramatically reduced or retired back in mid-2021 when the share price was inflated. And, had that occurred, the APE Preferred issuance and the RS would never had been necessary.
