Looking at the historical trades.....I see a couple days over 300,000 shares traded in last two months and yesterday a block of 50,000...so some were able to sell shares.

I have shares in a brokerage account and a Roth. Can’t take a loss in the Roth anyway so would consider selling 112,000 shares in my brokerage account. Tho, I might as well hold on to them now and wait another year to take the loss. Was in contact with Ant but haven’t heard anything in weeks.

Hey Mungo did you try contacting the Ant man? If he thinks he has a real chance with his case, he may be interested in more shares. How many shares are you talking about, I might be interested.

I think shares were being traded even after they change their status where it is now.....perhaps calling your broker and see how that was being done and then sell your shares, I can't imagine who would buy them but maybe its worth a try ?

I assume "your" shares are in a brokerage account and in street name. Only your brokerage can declare them worthless and provide documentation

If you file in what you believe is an accurate return, what's the worst that can happen? Your claim of a loss will be denied and your return adjusted accordingly. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Just be prepared that some claim filings may initiate an audit. You've had plenty of time and should have consulted a CPA.

The third factor was a change in SEC regulations that shifted thousands of companies from tradable non-reporting Pink Sheet status to a much more difficult to trade “grey market” status. This shift has had a drastic effect on stock prices.



Those three events present challenges for NanoLogix. We are dealing with those in the following ways:



1) With the reopening of many schools, we are prepared to increase FlatPack petri production to satisfy rebounding market demand.



2) We are also preparing for FDA Registration in January 2022 in order to be authorized to sell to laboratories and other groups that use Petri plates for testing samples under FDA regulated conditions. The FDA registration will list the FlatPack, our currently produced product, along with the ELISA variants of the N-Assay and RVA technologies.



3) After discussions with the OTC, and determining they will not accept independent SEC filings in order to restore NanoLogix to tradable Pink Sheet status, we will begin providing OTC with financials, and accept the burden of a $10,000 yearly fee. This is required to restore the Company to tradable status.

I have a question—I plan to take the write-off as a worthless stock at the end of the year. Apparently, IRS requires documentation that the stock is worthless. Can anyone:
1)share what that documentation would be and,
2)tell me what date the stock was considered worthless?
the rules says this needs to be done in the year the stock was considered worthless OR you can file an amended return for the past 3 years if it was declared worthless within that timeframe.

So what is it going on for time since we all last read from the ant man?.... 4-5 months? This thing has been dead for over a decade and finally, a stake was put through the company so it could no longer BS investors into losing hard-earned money that was borderline fraud, if not, fraud. My opinion is only based on a decade of rinse, recycle, and repeat press releases to nowhere. It's dead, NEVER coming back and its patents are not worth the toilet paper they are written on. Penny stocks are what happens when you invest in penny stocks. Your dollars become pennies!!! Stick with quality stocks/ quality dividend stocks and re-invest those shares, known as DRIP, and watch a dollar become five dollars over time.

You can include a worthless security as a capital loss without having to sell, and treat it as if sold on the last day of the year.

A capital loss cannot be claimed until the underlying security is sold. Nor can a capital gain.

you can take a writeoff without selling your position for tax purposes.

Have no clue Yman. If we don't hear anything relevant from the ANT by 12/27 I will be liquidating my position and take the write off.

Does anyone know what if any public companies the Ant is currently involved in and the extent of any such involvement?

Many opinions here and much misinformation it appears......The poster ant has not updated his situation for close to 8 weeks.........I personally see no reason to sell shares at this time nor have I been told I must sell before years end........Will ant reorganize NNLX and therefore potentially enhance its share value? WE can hope but seems like a stretch to me......time will tell. cheers

fairly new here but longterm shareholder, is there a consensus on the intention of litigation, any on possible likely outcomes, and how it will benefit current shareholders?

Since there has been no official statement of closure or bankruptcy or court judgement etc, could it be appropriate/legal to wait, and if that wait extends into 2025, to see if anything comes of any litigation (ie new company, shares still worth and potentially accounted for in any new company utilizing Nanologix patents and or other physical or intellectual property, before declaring a capital loss or attempting to have broker liquidate which might be easier said than done with no buyers etc

My understanding is that since NNLX closed the doors(an informal BK?) and are no longer in business you can have your broker liquidate your position allowing you to take the write-off... but it has to be done this tax year since they closed down this year. If you take the write-off you will no longer have any position with ANT's new company. If you then try to get shares of ANT's new company I'm pretty sure the SEC will find out and track you down... big brothers is always watching.

Who thinks anything good will manifest for Nanologix shareholders in light of current civil efforts to get answers and accountability?

Also, what if you claim capital loss on stocks do you forfeit? What if there is future arrangement to buy sell merge break apart any all assets and liabilities of Nanologix that involve shares and their potential or inherent value in any future dealing with any aspects of Nanologix or is value only retained in that event if you held the shares but did not claim loss for tax purposes?

Yo Mr. ant...........Do you have a time table for when you think this will be resolved.........Lawyers and courts can really stretch out a case but knowing that.......what is your best guess?

BIG loss for BB, he spent hundreds of hours working on it, fabricated an interesting exterior but was unable to finish interior........but the biggest loss was Nanologix, Hundreds of hours not getting paid, kept the doors open using his personnel funds...........appears this will end with a tragic conclusion for BB and those who invested with his dream...........Life can be cruel.

Update: Everything re motion to submit has been submitted and in the hands of the court. Both of us have requested oral argument so I assume the court will grant it. I am very confident it WILL NOT be dismissed.

There appears to be some back and forth between Ant (Fagan) and the Faros. Nothing yet determined by the court on the motion to dismiss. When there is nothing to update there is nothing for ant to pass on.

Must not have gone well IMO, otherwise the ANT would be on the board touting a victory.

Anyone know where we stand in the NJ court? Seems mighty quiet as of late.

Not sure Bret has any Capital Gain to use his tax loss against..........Hopefully he get some degree of health back, brings Nanologix to an end ( BK ) and we all get a conclusion.........

Yes..unfortunately that's about the best we can hope for........The tax loss against capital gains is a beautiful thing........just a matter of time.

I, for one, would just like to see some kind of resolution. I’d like to open up my brokerage account and NOT see the line with Nanologix on it! Hoping that happens before the end of the year so I can take the loss, a sadder but wiser investor!

WOW................... the dream lives on with some posters..........being positive is an attribute for sure but " getting our investment back".....thinking better chance buying lottery tickets..........wishing us all the luck in the world but thinking we need more than that....

Worse case the complaint gets dismissed (doubt it}, 2. we get our investment back, 3rd ant is successful and the patents live to get further developed and we begin a new journey. It might be a forced bankruptcy and then we can take a write off. I think there is enough from over the years that the complaint moves forward and the fate of management is to be determined. imo

I find it interesting and ironic at the same time; posters here blame BB and Nanologix for their losses and feel suckered by management yet here they wait for ant to save the day with a court case that could very well end up only benefiting ant..........

No new information to be found on the status of ants complaint or anything new showing on the pacermonitor. Haven't heard from ant on the board in a month. Checking daily. Have to assume things just moving slowly.
