Update: Phone call with Warren of RMD.

The litigation has been concluded as of the end of June. Now just waiting on the judge decision. They were expecting to wait at least 3 months for the judge's decision, so we are there now. Hoping end of Oct, early Nov for judge's decision.

They anticipate positive response from the judge, once that is cleared up, they can go and re-drill / re-test at the Swayze mine.

Swayze mine is located on the same belt as another hot stock / gold discovery, Probe Mines Limited (PRB.V). Probe Mines is a gold discovery in the same part, same geology, same greenstone belt in the same trend, etc. as Richmond Minerals Swayze mine.

Richmond will also be filing their audited financial statements soon.

Richmond Minerals Inc. ("Richmond") is pleased to provide the following corporate project update regarding the Hallé Township joint venture with Fort Chimo Minerals (CNQ: FORT) near Belleterre, Québec.

All necessary permits for the diamond drilling programme have now been received from Long Point First Nation and Société de protection des forets contre le feu. Drilling work is scheduled to begin during the week of September 6, 2010.

Geophysical data from the detailed ground EM and magnetic surveys completed earlier this summer has been reviewed and eight priority targets have been selected for the first phase of drilling. The anticipated meterage is for 2400 metres of drilling. In particular, 4 holes are targeted for the north and south anomalies.

As described in previous news releases, joint venture management believes the Hallé Township project is a newly discovered polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide occurrence. Grab sampling of the limited surface outcrops in the target area has returned base metal values in excess of 1%, and highly anomalous precious metal values. A review of historical assessment files indicates no definitive historical exploration work in the target area.

Warren Hawkins, P.Eng., in his capacity as Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed the content of this release.

btw, i have been very impressed with hawkins. he is a geologist, but a lot of companies could use a guy like him as a IR as well. knows his stuff, friendly and easy to talk to!

Richmond Minerals Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to provide an update on its exploration programme on the Hall? Township, Qu?bec property (the "Property"), a joint venture project with Fort Chimo Minerals (CNQ: FORT).

Line cutting by Long Point First Nation has now been completed and detailed ground electromagnetic and magnetic surveys are underway. It is anticipated that diamond drilling will begin in the first week of May.

As described in previous news releases, two strongly magnetic and highly conductive Fugro GEOTEM airborne anomalies were identified on the Property. Anomaly 1, located along the central eastern property boundary is approximately 1.3 kilometers in length. Anomaly 2, located in the north central portion of the Property, is approximately 4.5 kilometers in length. Grab samples collected from surface along the axis of these conductors returned values exceeding 1 % nickel, with anomalous values for copper, gold and chromium. A review of historical assessment files indicates no definitive historical exploration work in the target area.

The Company is engaged in base and precious metal mining and related activities, including exploration and development in Northern Ontario and Qu?bec.
