S&P500 futures already off 4-5% right now.

Treasury is the safest place. That is why Buffet has parked over 300KKK in the short term t- bills. The U.S govt. will be the last to default and if they default then it doesnt matter. Nothing will be left. My thought is that in the next few weeks or months countries will reverse their stance and Tarriffs will be relaxed by all sides along with rate cuts. 7K this year is possible.

these TRUMP tariffs MUST BE DONE, it wont be pretty but its a MUST for the future of the global economy and the UNITED STATES, the level of tariffs that truly go into effect for each country and or against the US will be negotiated over time. THIS is not a quick fix.

its also happening at a very interesting time in terms of HUMAN ADVANCEMENT in AI, less humans more AI

so the three biggest things people spend money on, AI doesnt. The velocity of money will move differently as work dynamics and human advancement or regression takes place over the next 5, 10, 20, 50 years.

Also, any company reshoring back to the united state will likely use less humans once the building is complete (of course at what price will it cost to build here or anywhere for that matter as prices rise)

this will be very messy, but it must happen and it will change the world as we know it forever. The question then becomes, what other weird shit happens during it all. Will there be other major escalations of war? will OIL then be used as weapon. OIL has not truly been used as weapon. Will rare earth metals become weaponized for negotiations? what about FOOD?

so, looking at the stock market and the way the charts look on the daily, weekly and monthly, the stock market can fall A LOT MORE
The stock market GOT WAY OVERPRICED recently. One could argue that the froth is now out, but the stock market is not even priced for a mild recession at 4800-5000, a mild recession takes the SP 500 to 4400-4600, a real recession takes it back to 3500-4100 and major global recession or chaos/ depression etc, we go back to 2700-3300. The only reason the stock market truly ran from 3000/3500 to 6000 was because of $6-$8 trillion in government stimulus coupled with very high concentration in 8-12 stocks (manipulating the averages) and then AI craze pouring gasoline on the fire.

on the other hand, could most of the selling be over if tariff talk de-escaltes? sure, but remember, there is no stimulus money coming and bear markets are natural part of stock market history, so it could be a very long time before the stock market ever sees 6000 again on SP 500 and thats even if the economy stays in decent shape, stocks should never have been that high in the first place, unless you were HELEN KELLER, this was the most obvious topping process I HAVE EVER SEEN. just look at a weekly or monthly chart!
the next blawk swans could be huge crypto selling, big spike in unemployment and or housing crash or all three at once. commercial real estate is still a canary in the coal mine and we havent even entered a true recession yet because the FED wants to play GOD and never let it happen naturally, well, i think they are in for a RUDE AWAKENING

Boy we got here in lightening speed, and are a few percent from 20% down for SPY from highs, indicating a bear market level of drop.

Bank earnings start end of next week on Friday and following week, and then tech earnings the weeks after.
