News: $DK Danger Lurks for These 3 High-Yield Dividend Stocks

In an environment of ultra-low interest rates, dividend stocks have become a refuge for investors wanting to generate income. While many dividend stocks remain safe, COVID-19 has hit some hard. Companies such as BP ,  Ford , and  Macy's had to reduce or suspend their dividend payou...

14 months ago they were $60 stock... Must be poorly run company since they ignored the distributions they owed us ALDW folks.. Glad I moved on and invested elsewhere. Nothing here to draw anyone to this stock.

Still off about 30% while they collect advantageous cash flow from the refinery in Big Spring...
Must be giving it to the board members....

Heard an interview with George Papadopoulos this morning. Worked with Derek and other Israel based companies in a former business life. He will be exonerated when the real story is told how he was a target of the left campaign in 2016, .... a pawn. A lot of bias and weaponizing major agencies revealed soon.

I'm glad I was able to unwind 2/3 of my position here a few weeks back with a loss at around 39. The proceeds from the sale of these shares went mostly toward a "wonder from down under" and a few hundred more NGL. I'm so glad I made this move! I was holding on to the last 1/3 of DK shares in hopes there would be a nice boost at the earnings announcement...but that didn't happen. I certainly hate what DK has done with 2 previously great companies it swallowed up (ALJ and ALDW). I'm looking forward to unloading the remaining 1/3 of DK at the next favorable opportunity.

I'm working on unwinding my position in this one. It's unfortunate that they have gutted 2 great companies (ALJ and ALDW).

Insider Bonus Alert
CEO triples his own shares without paying anything. 206538@$0
Now that's not stockholder friendly, but not at all unusual, IMO.

$7,759,632.66

Thats quite small compared to the bonus of United Health Care CEO... $150 M
But Hey, I guess that's why many C corps are run the way they are! Simply cash cows for board members while the debt is financed by the investors.

Now you tell me!

And here I've been scratching myself because you asked long ago what to do about DK and I said I was liquidating. But I took a position immediately in DKL.

I liked DKL and held a position too, until I saw there'd be none of the promised drop-downs. But if you're still in it, then you've done well as I see it. Bravo!

Good for you!

Our own private chatroom!

I don't think it would be smart if they do not raise the dividend, buy back stock, or make some sort of effort to acquire something with their pile of cash, and take their little private club higher,.... but they don't seem to give a rat's rump. Guess we will know tonight if they got smart or can do one of those connect the dot drawings.

When manipulation rears its ugly head so much sticking out like a sore thumb, I use the exposure with no fear. It is an aha moment. Still glad to be where we are in the big picture. Finger on the trigger but reluctant over at the other great company. Maybe lower yet on a "selling for no good reason" day!

DK's ATM stock DKL is breaking +5% today going into the MLP pay month, but since it never got the promised logistic assets from our old gem, I say GLT those buyers... Better plays abound!

Just can't trust the market to love anything about this DK group... Sure fell hard while beating earnings!!!

I believe we correctly determined the reason.

Thanks, young man!

I was also the last fool and I well know that. I do fine operating via fundamentals and personal research along with noting historical charts and drawing trend lines. But DK is a different animal as we know. Conventional theorizing leaves the investor writhing in the mud.

As you deftly pointed out the other day---whatever happened to those elusive dropdowns promised DKL's faithful following the big swallow?

Bullshit by any name invariably stinks.
