Thanks a lot Chico and Danieldeubank, with NB price Estimates from you two, I can sleep well now knowing my NIOBW won’t expire worthless.

Warrants still have 2.5 years to go before it’s expirations. I will try to increase my NB positions now.

Hey, I agree with AO! I do not like POTUS and I think some facets of his approach to China are misguided. I do believe though that for the time being the will is there to break China's dominance of the critical minerals market.

In addition to off take agreements and loans, the Fed Govt is also now an investor in MP and possibly other REE mining projects. Allowing the dumping of REE's from China would be antithetical to their investment interests on behalf of the American taxpayers. They will simply raise tariffs to control dumping.

The last town hall meeting Niocorp had with local Nebraska investors was November 17, 2022. It’s been nearly three years now since they have engaged with the local community there. Niocorp management had been very engaging with the locals before the GXII merger and now they’ve ghosted the local community there. It’s definitely not a good look for the company.

That's unlikely to happen with government financing and govt off takes. The NB Team (formerly MolyCorp/Mountain Pass Team) learned from the shenanigans China played with holding back then releasing REE's at below market rate 14 + years ago. This mine will be more diversified in its mineral offerings that China cannot compete with (Niobium and Scandium) and will not fold with govt loans and govt off takes. POTUS can also always impose stiffer tariffs on China REE imports to control dumping. It's a different World now than it was back then.

Could change???

Still don’t know about resistance.

The NioCorp management team has lived this scenario in conjunction with Molycorp. The MP Materials deal that the DoD made included a price floor for LREEs, mitigating predatory practices by bad actors. This "template" will be used when the DoD partners in the $400M equity financing for NioCorp, making the $800M debt financing a much easier process to complete.

NOTE: If China decides to ramp up production of rare earth elements. They could drive US based rare earth miners like NB out of business by glutting the market.

Food for thought: Niocorp is still several years away from production and is still in the process of securing financing. Investors seem to be overlooking the fact that rare earth mining costs will be much higher in the United States compared to China and other developing countries. NB shareholders could face significant dilution. Based on the posting history of this message board CEO Mark A. Smith has earned the reputation of a boondoggler who has led shareholders down a road to nowhere.

Remember pre-split we had 280M+ shares. $50 share price would have been 14B+ market cap?? Now the $50 which equates to $5 pre split is the pie in the sky. That pesky reality.

With the current momentum we have going, I decided to pop back into this board.  I have missed some of my favorite people whilst I have been away.
There has never been a better time for NIO to get this over the finish line IMHO.  I have been invested since 2011 QREDF days.  I have not sold a single share because I have always believed in the fundamentals of our little gem of a mine.
I turned 60 ten days ago.  My conviction and patience will line up perfectly with my retirement in 4 years and 354 days...and provide me with a very comfortable retirement if this continues in the direction we all hope it is heading.
Good luck to all...but most especially to the folks who have been NIO stalwarts along with me for all these years.  I look forward to seeing you at the groundbreaking, hopefully before I turn 61. :)

WHAT IS YOUR ESTIMATE FOR THE FUTURE PRICES OF NIOCORP?
My estimate the last time was ultra-conservative at $10 when NioCorp was trading at historic lows. The new base price of $4.26 and the momentum in the critical minerals and REE sector changes the calculus. I am more optimistic today! I think because of the tailwinds from MP Materials/DoD and the REE sector, in general , as well as the increased base price for NB my estimate is now 400% higher than it was previously…
NB Price Prediction – Current $4.26
$4 - $5 tailwinds from MP Materials/DoD and the REE sector in general
$5 - $6 on a positive report from the drilling campaign
Add +$1 for each offtake agreement announcement, assume three or +$3 - $8 - $9
(note: this will put the NB stock back to where it was pre-10:1-split)
Release of the Updated FS, 25% price increase $10 - $11.25
Equity Financing of $400M (partially DoD & partially private), 25% price increase $12.50 - $14
Completed Financing ($800M EXIM) for the Elk Creek Mine, 2x the current price (100%) $25 - $28
(These previous two may occur concurrently)
Elk Creek Mine Completion and the beginning of production, 50% price increase $37.50 - $42

TH- I’ve run several Ai scenarios. Final share count & the sales price of the Scandium & tonnage sold are key unknowns! I use Scott Honan’s 2020 AGM statement that @ 750 tons of REE’s will be produced. (Yet I speculate it might be more)
Note: MP materials generates @ 45,000 tons of mixed concentrate will boils down/separates to @ 1,300 tons of LREE/yr.
That being said & using @ 150 million shares outstanding my projections range $24 tons $36 per share. If the vertical integration of ScAl & 🧲 magnet & magnet recycling ♻️.
Niocorp full suite of diversified products will match or exceed MP materials in share price! $50 + imho.
Those are some nice apples 🍎 . But run your own numbers based on 2022 f.s for Nb,Sc, & Ti & Scott’s 750 ton REE projection from2020! See what you come up with??
Either way I’m not selling a single share until production time! Front row seats with many..

It's important to remember our recent price increase is not tied to any specific NB news, but rather the overall REE industry trend. Many REE stocks are up because of MP, including NioCorp.

When actual NB material news drops, we're going to see some real fireworks here!

Niobium is a transformative element in steel production, enabling stronger, lighter, and more corrosion-resistant HSLA steels critical for automotive, construction, infrastructure, and aerospace applications. Its ability to enhance steel’s properties with minimal quantities makes it indispensable for modern engineering and sustainability goals. NioCorp Developments Ltd. is poised to become a pivotal player in this ecosystem through its Elk Creek Project, which could establish the first U.S. niobium production in decades, reducing reliance on foreign imports and supporting critical industries. With advanced extraction technologies, strategic offtake agreements, and alignment with U.S. critical minerals priorities, NioCorp is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for niobium in steel and beyond.

Besides I'm talking a quick turn around to get my 1/10 reverse split back, and you have much more practice at that than me!

You should be telling us! 😇

Question for et al

If by some miracle we were able to get over $18.00 somehow, and Mark pulled the plug on the SPAC Warrants, would that % be considered part of the Equity portion?
Or is it just Dilution that made the company million$, and an Entity has to do the finance equity portion?

There has been no resistance lol
We are above it all, so its up to the market from this point, and that ain't me.

I've got my $Number for a high, but that's not resistance, as much as it is, a breather.
The First day on the Nasdaq we had a high of $7.83 (hard resistance IMO) Can we get there this or next month??
I'm contemplating, but will probably fail to confirm my order! hahaha
I'm sure NCT has something to do with my plight. lol

Where is he anyway? All this action and not a peep.
I have some heart feelings and I need his better judgement.

I agree, they are a long way off
I went to their web site and did some reading. They just filed their first PEA early this month. We long term Niocorp share holders know where that fits in the scheme of things. The PEA does say they plan to produce Sc and that Sc will be about 80% of their revenue. Their PPM of Sc in the mined material is right at half of Elk creek. The selling price for Sc that they estimate in the PEA is $3700/kg. This would definitely be a strip mine, not a deep underground mine. That part of Wyoming is called the Powder River Basin. There are many coal mines and they are all surface mines. I spent my career working in power plants. I burned coal from most of those mines and visited some of the mines.

Thinking about their economics:
Yeah, their mining costs will be less than at Elk Creek. Despite the relatively high cost of underground mining, our costs to process a tonne of ore at Elk Creek is still more the cost to mine it. Their PPM of Sc is half of ours which means they need to process twice as much ore. Sc is their primary pay product. Sc is certainly important for us but from that ore we process we extract and sell Sc, Nb, Ti, and REEs. They have done no pilot plant work and we all know how long that took. This will no doubt be a functioning coal mines. The REE part of it may never progress past PEA.

Ramaco Brook mine has no idea if they can process REE’s
They still have a pilot plant to Construct and Run.

And you can see from the video the coal is right under the surface.
I wouldn’t be bragging about being the First REE mine in 70 years if I was them. But I’m not them.
It’s a coal mine, with REE’s as a byproduct, that they have not proven they can separate from the coal.

And that’s just my opinion.

Yes. And, after the 8.5% spike up in just a couple of minutes to the new 52-week intra-day high of $4.33, it did drop back to just under $4.10, although nothing near the pullback down to the $2.00 range you have been vociferously calling for/predicting of late. The recovery to close at its 52-week closing high of $4.24 (+12.47%) is still very positive. I sure would not want to be short NB right now.
