https://www.accesswire.com/701247/adaptive-ad-systems-reports-record-results-for-q1-2022
Increase of 19% in Revenue and 83% Net Profit Year over Year
Proprietary Technology provides Market Advantage
VANCOUVER, WA / ACCESSWIRE / May 13, 2022 / Adaptive Ad Systems, Inc. (OTC PINK:AATV), a company that provides Dynamic Digital Ad Insertion (DDAI) via its streaming media hardware and proprietary software for the U.S. cable T.V. and Satellite markets, today reports a continuing increase in Revenue and Net Profit for the first quarter of 2022.
J. Michael Heil, CEO of Adaptive Ad Systems, stated: "Our proprietary cloud-based software (Dynamic Digital Ad Insertion; "DDAI") technology has provided us with an operational advantage and extended market reach that we were aiming for when we developed this leading-edge technology. We are proud of our engineering team that developed the technology which enables us to economically distribute television advertisements to U.S. markets where advertisers typically have limited or no access. This has allowed us to develop further our leading position in the market, especially in the underserved Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. We are happy to report that even though we are only at the beginning of the 2022 mid-term election period, we again have significantly increased revenue and profit for the first quarter of 2022. We currently expect our ad campaigns for highly competitive midterm elections to accelerate in the second quarter and reach their peak in this year's third and fourth quarters. This will increase ad frequencies and our revenue even further."
Q1 2022 Results
Revenue $1,758,755
Net Profit $447,158
Cash $6,544.014
Assets $16,948,103

For the first quarter 2022 revenues were $1,758,755 compared with $1,477,817 during the same period in 2021, an improvement of $280,938 or 19%. The improved performance resulted from our network's continuing expansion, new headend installations, and adding Adaptive systems and clients across the U.S.
Net Profit Increased
Net Profit increased to $447,158 in Q2 2022 from $244,038 in Q1 2021, an increase of $203,120 or approximately 83%. This increase is based on management's focused efforts to increase Revenue through continued economic expansion of our DDAI network while keeping overhead low.
Assets Increased
Total Assets increased to $16,948,103 in Q1 2022 from $16,426,488 in Q1 2021, an increase of $521,615 or approximately 3%. Our total assets currently exceed our liabilities by $14,221,607.
Mr. Heil adds, "We are currently relocating our Arizona-based IPTV headend facility, which will not only assist in serving our ad insertion processing needs but will also serve as an advanced technology center for the Company's hardware and software development and deployment. Continued improvements to our technology have enabled us to consistently increase the number of installations of our proprietary hardware and software systems throughout the country. Our expanded network provides our contracted clients with more major ad campaigns that they typically would not have access to, resulting in the consistent improvement of our financial performance while creating a solid ROI for our shareholders."

$AATV Adaptive Ad Systems Releases Annual Report for 2021 Reports Another Record Profitable YearPress Release | 03/30/2022
VANCOUVER, WA / ACCESSWIRE / March 30, 2022 / Adaptive Ad Systems, Inc. (OTC PINK:AATV) has released the Company's annual report for the period ending on December 31, 2021, reporting yet another profitable year. Adaptive provides Dynamic Digital Ad Insertion (DDAI) via its streaming media hardware and proprietary processing software for all U.S. cable T.V. markets, with a particular focus on underserved rural markets and High Speed Fixed Wireless Internet Service (WISP) via its network of Hybrid Access Points and Micro POPs.
The Company's 2021 gross revenue is the second-largest amount for any non-presidential election year and the third largest for any year since 2014. Despite nearly every industry sector experiencing a decrease in revenue due to the Pandemic, during 2021, Adaptive was able to continue the expansion of ad insertions on its proprietary platforms throughout its cable television networks and WISP services. Thus, the Company can again report sufficient revenue for 2021 to produce another profitable year for the eighth year in a row.
More specifically, many television advertising operations in the U.S. were negatively affected by the unprecedented impact of the Pandemic during 2021. Add to this that the Company typically experiences reduced advertising revenue during non-election years, especially directly following a national election year, such as 2020. Accordingly, though Adaptive's $5,640,267 in sales for the year ending December 30, 2021, was lower than the sales for the same period in 2020, as expected, Adaptive was still able to generate a net profit of approximately $860,000. The Company also was able to increase its cash position by approximately $1.9 million to a total of $6,318,153, while total assets increased by approximately $860,000, with assets surpassing its liabilities by $13,716,853.
Revenue $5,640,267
Net Profit $859,237
Cash $6,318,153
Assets $16,426,488
The continued profitability resulted in a significant cash position, allowed the Company to install additional proprietary digital ad insertion systems, acquire a television station in Reno, Nevada and accelerate its innovative technology development. With its focus on providing valuable and affordable digital advertising and broadband services for underserved U.S. markets, the Company consistently expands its footprint in the U.S. cable T.V. markets, establishing a solid business basis for launching its new technology.
CEO J. Michael Heil states: "2021 was a solid year for revenue and profitability. Our focus on underserved Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets in the U.S. has provided us with a constantly expanding customer base, and we anticipate that demand for our services will continue to increase. The upcoming launch of our new technology that is currently being developed will capture an important new segment of the constantly evolving digital T.V. ad sector. We expect this new market segment to increase our revenues, further developing a more balanced performance in future years. Revenues during the first three months of 2022 are on track to further improve our financial performance with the expectation of a stellar 2022.

As we have consistently reported over the past year, our development and management teams have persisted throughout the pandemic and been successful in achieving substantial operational and financial milestones. Though, at times, prospective ad sales were unpredictable and troubling for the general cable TV advertising sector, we continued to focus on our chosen market segment that we have cultivated and served with our hardware and software for years - the underserved and neglected ad markets throughout the US. Having manifested our position as a dominant company in this sector in 2020, we have shattered all of our performance records over the last few years and created an ever-stronger foundation for future development and expansion. In subsequent releases we intend to elaborate on what these results mean for the Company's future."

Adaptive and its subsidiary companies provide Dynamic Digital Ad Insertion (DDAI) via its streaming media hardware and proprietary processing software for all U.S. cable TV markets, and High Speed Fixed Wireless Internet Service (WISP) via a network of Hybrid Access Points and Micro POPs.
Prior to the conclusion of the month of December 2020, the Company's largest revenue for any December throughout the company's history was $429,000. Revenue recorded for December 2020 exceeded $1.3 million, for an increase of about 200%.
The record revenue for December 2020 adds to the exceptional financial performance during all of 2020. The Company had already reported record revenue for each of the months of August and September of 2020, which resulted in the largest third quarter revenue ever, only to be surpassed again by the largest revenue for any months of October and November.
Mr. Heil states: "The year 2020 was a challenging year for almost every business, and our company was no exception. However, through regular remote conferencing by our team, persistence in installing new and advanced ad-insertion equipment, upgrading existing equipment, continuing to improve our digital ad insertion software technology and working closely with advertisers who were trying to adjust quickly to a unique advertising environment, we were able to achieve, and even exceed, many of the goals we set back in January 2020. Accordingly, I am pleased to announce that while having produced extraordinary gains in revenue over the past five months, we currently anticipate reporting soon the largest revenue for any January in the Company's history."

$AATV Adaptive Broadband Remains More Competitive Than Largest Competitors; AATV Subsidiary Places No Caps on Broadband Usage
Press Release | 12/29/2020
VANCOUVER, WA / ACCESSWIRE / December 29, 2020 / In response to media market news regarding broadband caps that will be imposed by Comcast on its subscribers starting January 1, 2021, Adaptive Ad Systems, Inc. (OTC PINK:AATV), announced today that its subsidiary, Adaptive Broadband (ABB), does not, and will not, place broadband usage caps on its residential customers in 2021.
Adaptive Broadband is a Wireless Internet Service Provider ("WISP") that provides High Speed Fixed Wireless Broadband to residences and small businesses and has established itself as experts in serving small metro and rural areas. Currently operating in select areas of Oregon covering approximately 500 square miles, ABB offers competitive internet speeds with reliable symmetrical upload and download speeds, no contracts, no data limits, and no installation charges, all at competitive prices.
In a recent news article on December 24th, Foxbusiness.com reported "Starting Jan. 1, Comcast will impose an extra charge for using too much data on its existing customers, a hike that has become an unfortunate, annual holiday tradition for some of the biggest cable companies," and added "the Philadelphia based cable and broadband giant is imposing a 1.2-terabyte data cap in all 39 states where it operates."
J. Michael Heil, Adaptive Ad Systems CEO, explains "Industry experts agree that 2020 has catapulted households into early adoption of "work from home" and "educate from home" capabilities and as a consequence drastically increasing the broadband capacity required for nearly every household. Regardless of how much hardware a user purchases, the amount of broadband capacity available to that home can radically alter the user's employment or education experience. These expensive surcharges imposed for exceeding contract limits will limit access or affordability of these crucial services."
As reported in the Fox Business article, "Streaming Netflix's popular show 'The Crown' in 4K resolution takes up an estimated seven gigabytes an hour and 280 gigabytes for the entire season, or over a fourth of a terabyte, according to Larson. Meanwhile, a Zoom call can cost one-and-a-half gigabytes an hour. For two kids taking online classes eight hours a day every week for school tacks on an additional 192 gigabytes each month."
A month early, on November 25th, Rachel Lerman of the Washington Post reported on the impending changes at Comcast, stating " Comcast said this week it would start charging more for heavy users of home Internet in the Northeast, sparking complaints from some customers as the global pandemic keeps life online Home Internet usage has skyrocketed during the pandemic as more people work from home and attend classes online, not to mention spend hours and hours streaming TV and games"
Mr. Heil continues "Most Americans, families and small companies, are hurting deeply because of the pandemic, which has radically altered family income, employment requirements, and access to education and entertainment. Our Adaptive business model remains strong enough to continue our services at existing rates without usage caps, or price increases. Consequently, despite being a broadband business competing with a very large competitor, we will not follow Comcast in imposing broadband caps in 2021. We wish all our customers a very happy and prosperous new year in 2021."

$AATV Adaptive Ad Systems Announces Beta Testing at New Tower Site Service to Cover Over 50% of a Twenty-Mile Radius Around Salem Oregon
Press Release | 12/22/2020
VANCOUVER, WA / ACCESSWIRE / December 22, 2020 / Adaptive Ad Systems, Inc. (OTC PINK:AATV), announced today that its subsidiary, Adaptive Broadband (ABB), is currently conducting beta testing for its High Speed Fixed Wireless Broadband services on a new tower location west of Salem, Oregon.
Adaptive Broadband is a Wireless Internet Service Provider ("WISP") that provides High Speed Fixed Wireless Broadband to residences and small businesses and has established itself as experts in serving small metro and rural areas. Currently operating in select areas of Oregon ABB offers competitive internet speeds with reliable symmetrical upload and download speeds, no contracts, no data limits, and no installation charges, all at competitive prices.
ABB previously reported that it began a network-wide infrastructure upgrade in 2019, expanding its network of transmission towers. These upgrades were completed in 2020, which has allowed ABB to deliver internet access to rural areas that have limited affordable internet access.
ABB Vice President and General Manager Jordan Reed states : "We secured the newest tower site two months ago and have installed and connected our state-of-the-art equipment at that location. The tower is approximately 140 feet in height and is strategically important to our continued expansion in the Marion and Polk counties in Oregon. The site and tower specifications will allow Adaptive Broadband to meet the growing demands in our customer base for the next five years. These service parameters will allow Adaptive to increase its through-put in the area and implement protective redundancies that will strengthen the Company's regional broadband network. Essentially, we will be able to offer faster speeds and, due to decreasing transmission costs, provide customers with lower service fees, all of which will enhance our competitive position in the area."
ABB also recently announced that construction of a facility to serve as its headquarters will commence in the first quarter of 2021. This fixed-base addition to ABB's infrastructure increases its ability to deliver broadband and video services at competitive prices throughout the Northwestern United States and will serve as a model for expansion into other states.
J. Michael Heil, CEO of parent company Adaptive Ad Systems, states: "ABB continues to expedite its innovative technology development to provide the fastest broadband speeds at the best prices. We are looking forward to Jordan Reed and his team to lead the broadband industry in serving rural areas as they prepare to commence services in larger metro communities."
THE ADAPTIVE SYSTEM
Adaptive Ad Systems Inc. is a digital media and video communications company. Together with its subsidiaries and manufactures it develops and deploys Dynamic Digital Ad Insertion (DDAI) streaming media hardware and proprietary processing software for the Cable TV, Satellite, and IPTV markets. Via its subsidiary Adaptive Broadband, it provides High-Speed Fixed Wireless Internet Service (WISP) to residences and small businesses. The Company's DDAI and WISP services target the often-over-looked 2nd and 3rd Tier cable TV and rural WIFI markets, and now also Tier 1 markets. Adaptive's proprietary software and hardware, installed in scores of cable television systems across the United States, creates a "network" of linked cable systems. This allows advertisers to purchase ads across the entire National Adaptive network, generating significantly more ad impressions than through the traditional ad insertion technologies in individual systems. Adaptive Ad Systems has established an innovative revenue sharing agreement with each individual system and manages all ad-related activities. Currently, the Company serves over 75 designated marketing areas in over 40 states. The Adaptive Broadband network system provides services via a network of Hybrid Access Points and Micro POPs. $AATV Adaptive Ad Systems Reports Two More Record Months for October & November 2020
Press Release | 12/02/2020
Political Advertising Increased in Final Election Months
VANCOUVER, WA / ACCESSWIRE / December 2, 2020 / Adaptive Ad Systems, Inc. (OTC PINK:AATV), today announces that it generated two additional months of record revenue for October and November 2020, after having recently reporting the largest revenue for any months of August and September in the Company's history.
Despite the obvious operational and financial complexities the pandemic has and continues to impose on all businesses worldwide, Adaptive was able to not only maintain its high level of standard operations in October and November, but has been able to expand its sales efforts and distribution network. The previously announced new installations of the Company's network and ad insertion equipment, magnified by the increased ad frequency due to unprecedented intense election ad campaigns nationwide, resulted in the Company generating the most revenue for any October and November in the Company's history.
In connection with this announcement, the Company's CEO, J. Michael Heil, stated: "As America began addressing the pandemic in March of this year, campaign ads were widely put-on hold, and we did not know when that spending would resume. Thereafter, shelter in place and work at home activities substantially increased the average daily television viewing time of consumers. Consequently, the largest and most savvy tv advertisers took full advantage of this reality and resumed buying advertisement slots at an increased rate. Thus, our foundation for revenue generation was reviving quickly, even faster and stronger than originally anticipated."
Mr. Heil continues: "Despite America's quadrennial election-cycle-spending having largely stalled from March through June and even July, by August most candidates and their parties were fully deploying funds for television advertising. And, while we expected the late-summer trend of increased ad frequency throughout our network to continue, the political ad spending during the final months of the election was simply unprecedented. Based on the Georgia runoff elections that again present the market with enormous ad spending, we expect this trend to continue through January of 2021."
The Company's financial successes of 2020 has created a solid basis for the acceleration of its numerous new technology projects, which the Company expects to announce and launch soon. The Company anticipates that these projects and developments will allow the Company to continue its successful performance into the years beyond this historic election cycle.

This allows advertisers to purchase ads across the Adaptive network, generating significantly more ad impressions than through the traditional ad insertion technologies in individual systems. Adaptive Ad Systems has established an innovative revenue share agreement with each individual system and manages all ad-related activities. Currently, the Company serves over 75 designated marketing areas in over 40 states. The Adaptive Broadband network system provides services via a network of Hybrid Access Points and Micro POPs.
