Unisys Corp. said Monday it has appointed Dwayne Allen as chief technology officer and senior vice president of solution innovation and architecture.

Mr. Allen joins information-technology services company from Microsoft Corp., where he was a global digital strategist working with clients in multiple industries. Prior to that, he was chief information officer at Masonite International Corp., a global manufacturer of building products.

Unisys said Mr. Allen in his new role will drive identification of innovative technologies in cloud, end-user experience and enterprise computing and will also oversee integration of the technologies into solutions that the company's global business units provide.
