I see the Swedish propertiers are to be spun off - i don't read anything of heritage site in Finlans, Rompas/Rajaplot = is that decades long work to be abandoned and mothballed. Millons spent on that - never a resourse estimate. Personaly disappointing at that's where I came in. I see Michael Hudson survives but the Mawson Board is sent packing.

Rise in share prices has sustained itself to move well above the 50 and 200 day moving averages. RSI now 77 and in "Overbought" arena and about equals the 5 year high set in Aug 2020. In past five years every time the RSI has spiked above 70 a substantial drop occurs and usually back to RSI 30 for another BUY signal.

No explanation was given for this downlisting of Mawson shares. Usually it's because the market cap has fallen below TSX listing requirments . It can also be for less rigorous reporting standards for the stock. With the breakup of Mawson into 3 components it may be the market cap for the core MAW component is below reporting standards for TSX. Haven't confirmed that speculation.

How long have we nursed the Rajaplot project along only to see it no longer under the Mawson flag? I am unsure how shareholders fare under this announcement. Also Southercross is being spun off and if anyone can describe the transaction in section two of the press release you're doing good. No idea how the proceeds will be distributed to MWSNF shareholders.

Seems Mawson Gold will become a Swedish gold and uranium play - after years and millions spent in Finlnd's arctic region.

I don't have a feeling shareholders have been protected or the motivation explained for these moves.

It'll take a second and third reading to digest this and I hope some independent analysis is forthcoming. Share price reaction will be one indication of how it's received.

To mark the share price when this was announced - at 12 noon Central Daylight Time [Oct 31, 2023] in the US the MWSNF share price was 0.262 up 2.49% and MAW on the TSX was 0.36 CDN up 2.9%.

Any statment that begins with "To unlock shareholder value" is of concern. "Pleased to announce" is another worrisome phrase.

It will take a second and third read to digest this breakup of Mawson into three parts - it more or less confirms the loss of interest in the flaship Rajaplot Rompas projct which has received few updates and no timeline to decion on going to production. A lot f time and money has been spend in the Arctic - is this the end game and what's the value received for the expenditure .

When will Rompas/Rajaplot come to a yes/no decision on economic resource? They have spent millions but not yet assured me it's economic as far as I can ell. Emphasis seems to have shifted to Sunday Creek subsidiary. Would hate to see Finnish efforts mothballed after years and millions spent in exploration.

At one time there were estimates of a production year but those hopeful forecasts disappeared from the Corp presentations long ago.

Such things always worded in very polite language so the interested shareholder can tell nothing of the motivation between the resignation and appointment. If this moves things along in Finland I'm for it. The journey with Mawson's Finnish operation stretches many years backward and totally unknown timing in the future. The Australian operations are closer at hand and may produce the revenue to further the Arctic project.

Best to Ms. Ahola - out fate is not in her hands. I like the fact she has long experience with the Rajaplot operation. Just read that Finnish people are the happiest on earth. A good place to chill and prospect for gold and cobalt.

At 11 am CDT Thursday , Aug 11th, MWSNF up 24% to 0.1233. -- not a great share price for a stock that traded between 0.25 and 0.35. two years ago. I have pared down to a minimal holding. Be glad to see it become successful in either or both countries, Finland or Australia. But even $.50 a share won't impact me by much given meager holdings at present.

Time to buy back in or continue to watch and wait? Have been watching and waiting since the play was in Sweden only. Like the "story" but it's time to read of a path to production in the Rajaplot District. Company charts are not even showing "production" anymore - formerly they did make a forecast but for years well in the past. it's been a very long march but exploration money continues to be available.

Key decision by the Lapland regional council is favorable for development of the Rajaplot-Rompas project. This could have been a stopper but but it gives green light to continued exploration .

Wish we'd sometime get a hint as to moving from exploration to actual mine construction and operation but company is very reticent about that after previously providing some vague guidance.

We do see a mention of a one million ounce gold equivalent resource divided between surface and underground mining. How the economics and mine life fall out - not sure. Has to be economic to proceed. Not all deposits are economic deposits.

As I read it current Mawson shareholders will receive shares on the ASX of the new entity. Not so handy in my TDA acct where such shares will incur extra brokerage costs I believe.

Monday's trading - 11-29-21 MNWSN of 0.116 USD down 12.6% at 11 am CST

No joy in Mawson's corner today, Monday. Fallout from the market jitters over renewed COVID or reaction to divestiture of the Australian properties? Or something not yet generally know.

The chart shows twin peaks around 0.18 in both October and mid November but both peaks saw rapid returns to a base line around 14 cents and today a continued fall off to just under 12 cents. Bargain time or bailing time or holding time? For me holding time but I recall prices much higher than t his as a baseline. For a while the share price moved back and forth from 30 to 40 cents - either one looks good at current 12 cents.

This is second time Mawson has divested from a holding to concentrate on the Finnish gold property. Abut six or eight years ago they spun off an operation in I believe Sweden and I received shares in another entity which I later sold Sounds like that will happen again - I hope at a profit to Mawson.

I found this document from 2012 which exlains the details - I was parlty right but more wrong than right. There was a uranium operation in Sweden but the spinoff was a Peruvian property renamed Darwin after the spin-off.

There's more but to me to bottom line is this long time of exploring Rompas - ten years now and drilling always leads to more drilling - the patience of Job is needed here and the corporate presentations no longer even hint as a construction and mining date -still 3 to 5 years or and indefinite "more" . I have myself divested of most of my Mawson holdings in favor of what I feel are projects closer to revenue.

Details of action in Australia with full account of the agreement that can lead to a 30/70 JV. That would happen in stages over several years with Mawson footing exploration expenses and making cash payments - pretty standard n the mining world.

Drill program also described and a couple of favorable intercepts of 6.1 and 5.3 g/ton so far. The Whroo agreement is with Nagambie Resources Limited.

Good accounts from two projects hemispheres apart. North vs South and East vs West. Finland and Australia. The revenue horizon is still years out but substantial gains in share price likely well before any construction based on a GO decision and financing to commence.
