Giga Capital Corporation (TSX VENTURE:GIG.P) ("Giga" or the "Corporation")
announced today that the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV") has granted an
extension to the Corporation to complete its Qualifying Transaction, as defined
under TSXV Policies, from January 15, 2010 to March 31, 2010.


About Giga Capital Corporation

Giga, a capital pool company within the meaning of the policies of the TSXV, was
listed on the TSXV in January, 2008. Giga does not have any operations and has
no assets other than cash. Giga's business is to identify and evaluate
businesses and assets with a view to completing a Qualifying Transaction under
the policies of the TSXV.
