MEADVILLE, Pa., April 23, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "Horse Tales": a triple feature of stories about horses and faith for young readers. "Horse Tales" is the creation of published author, Connie Squiers. Although all of Connie's children were boys, she remembers the times she spent with her crazy girlfriends, horses, and many, many books about horses. She uses these experiences, and those as a mother, to craft her stories. She has dedicated herself to writing books that are about horses, appeal to young people, and teach the tenets of her faith. Her goal is to show youngsters that God can, and should, be an integral part of their lives. Her goal is to make them aware that Jesus is their best friend, protector, and comforter. They simply have to let him into their hearts. Connie is active in her church. She has also been active in prison ministry, which serves young men and women, for the past twelve years.

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Connie Squiers's new book shows young people that they can overcome adversity with the help of wonderful mentors, a love of horses, and their Christian faith.

"Horse Tales" is a collection of three stories, which include "Dakota," "Spirit's Legacy," and "The Copper Colt."

Set in Southeastern Oklahoma, "Dakota" is the tale of a young Choctaw Indian boy who wants to become a vet. He receives the gift of a lifetime, a beautiful Arab-Mustang colt.
In "Spirit's Legacy," a young Christian boy and his mother inherit a ranch in Northern New Mexico. Through their adventures, they come to love horses, especially the one they call Spirit.
Set in rural Virginia, "The Copper Colt" is about an orphan boy who loves a beautiful chestnut colt he calls Copper. His faith, and good Christian friends, help him deal with the troubles and betrayals he encounters.
