Axsome Therapeutics Added to Russell 3000® and Russell 2000® Indexes

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: AXSM), a clinical-stage
biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for the
management of central nervous system (CNS) disorders, has been
added to the Russell 3000® and Russell 2000® Indexes, as part of
the annual Russell indexes reconstitution, which took place
following the US market close on June 28, 2019.
The Russell indexes are rebalanced each June in
order to capture growing equities and market changes that occurred
in the preceding year. FTSE Russell determines membership for its
Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization
rankings and style attributes.
Russell indexes are widely used by investment
managers and institutional investors for index funds and as
benchmarks for active investment strategies. Approximately $9
trillion in assets are benchmarked against Russell’s US indexes.
Russell indexes are part of FTSE Russell, a leading global index
provider.
