           Horizon Technology Group plc ("Horizon" or the "Company")
                          Catch up listing application

Application has been made to UK Listing Authority for 3,179,132 Ordinary Shares
of nominal value Euro0.07 each in the capital of Horizon to be admitted to the
Official List of the UK Listing Authority and application has been made to the
London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading. Of the shares
to be listed 85,968 were allotted pursuant to an employee stock option plan and
3,093,164 shares were allotted to individuals who are or were employees of
Horizon following the acquisition of two subsidiaries of Horizon. These shares
have been admitted to trading on the Irish Stock Exchange since 2002 and
therefore the admission of these shares to trading does not increase the
Company's issued share capital. This application is being made to reconcile the
number of shares which have been admitted to trading in the UK with those which
have been admitted to trading in Ireland.

Such admission is expected to become effective and dealings expected to commence
in these shares on 15 February 2006.
