Kofax TotalAgility Streamlines and Connects
Business Processes Across Functions
Kofax® Limited (NASDAQ and LSE: KFX), a leading provider of
smart process applications for the business critical First Mile™ of
customer interactions, today announced that the Australian
Attorney-General’s Department has expanded its Kofax implementation
to include Kofax TotalAgility® with the goal of enhancing
citizen-facing services.
The Attorney-General’s Department selected Kofax TotalAgility to
streamline its case management needs into a unified smart process
application platform. This will streamline business processes,
support greater consistency in the development of new solutions and
increase connectivity between business lines, and TotalAgility’s
analytics capabilities will enable staff to monitor process flows
and remedy bottlenecks in near real time.
“Kofax TotalAgility offers us the potential to cut processing
times across a broad range of business lines, including grants
approval, international litigation and legal assistance claims,”
commented Joann Corcoran, Chief Information Officer at the
Attorney-General’s Department of Australia. “The eight case
management processes we are replacing had multiple processes within
each, and different approaches to achieving the same outcomes.
Redeveloping these into consistent processes offers us potentially
significant efficiency gains. The ease of integration with our
existing infrastructure, which includes MS Dynamics, Microsoft
SharePoint, TRIM and SAP, was a significant factor in selecting
Kofax.”
“Government agencies are upgrading systems to bring more
visibility, engagement and transparency into their processes while
lowering administrative costs,” said Howard Dratler, Executive Vice
President of Global Field Operations at Kofax. “With TotalAgility,
the Attorney General’s First Mile of citizen engagement is now more
agile, service levels are vastly improved and internal knowledge
workers are more effective.”
The sale closed during the fourth quarter of Kofax’s fiscal year
ended June 30, 2014 and consisted of over $500,000 in software
license revenue.
Kofax TotalAgility is the first unified smart process
application development and deployment platform that includes
multichannel capture, business process and case management, data
integration, advanced analytics and mobility in a single platform.
TotalAgility provides an essential link between an organization's
systems of engagement and systems of record to help increase
responsiveness to customers, improve service levels and gain
competitive advantage in order to better manage and grow businesses
while greatly reducing operating costs.
