Lamprell PLC said Wednesday that it has been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract by Saudi Aramco as part of their long-term agreement program for an undisclosed amount.

The United Arab Emirates-based, U.K.-listed oil-rig constructor said that work on the contract consists of two offshore production deck modules and associated pipeline and subsea cables at the customer's Marjan field, located in the Arabian gulf.

Shares at 0812 GMT were up 3 pence, or 3.7%, at 85 pence.
