On November 18th, the four-day 2nd China Marine Equipment Expo
(CMEE) concluded in Fuzhou, Fujian. Spanning 100,000 square meters,
the exhibition brought together 752 exhibitors and attracted around
220,000 visitors, including around 7,500 professional buyers (over
600 international), and featured over 30 professional conferences,
forums, business matchmaking events, and science outreach
activities.
Leading Technology Trends
As a premier marine industry exhibition, CMEE showcased
cutting-edge innovations from 752 leading enterprises and
institutions, including Shell, Wärtsilä, Accelleron, Kongsberg,
Burckhardt, PetroChina, BYD, CATL, Shanghai Jiao Tong University,
and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Over 7,000 advanced
technologies and products were displayed, covering sectors such as
oil and gas exploration, alternative ship fuels, propulsion
systems, advanced hull materials, underwater communication, ROVs,
and smart marine systems, providing attendees with unparalleled
insights into industry trends.
Precise Matchmaking & Business
Cooperation
Professional buyers from maritime groups, shipowners, and marine
services achieved significant outcomes. Highlights included Mawei
Shipbuilding’s letter of intent with COSCO Shipping Hong Kong for
15 self-propelled barges and Fujian Lixin Ship Engineering’s
agreement with Green Era Shipping for 12 bulk carriers. Over four
days, total signed transactions reached 48 billion RMB.
Think Big, Act Bigger
During the exhibition, 200 industry professionals were invited
to share and discussing on over 30 conferences and forums, covering
topics including, sustainable development in the shipbuilding
industry (ESG), maritime cybersecurity, smart ocean industry
development, sustainable materials, energy management in
shipbuilding, and new technologies and materials for ship coating
and welding.
Exhibition Highlights
CMEE hosted activities such as new product launches, industry
cooperation promotions, and competitions, including the Fujian
Universities Student Intelligent Marine Equipment Design
Competition and the announcement of the 2025 SeaPerch International
Youth Robotics Challenge. Four major awards, including "Top 10
International Cooperation" and "Top 10 Technological Innovation,"
were presented to 40 enterprises, enhancing their brand
influence.
The China Marine Equipment Expo remains committed in pushing for
