Danish Krone Advances To 2-day High Against US Dollar

Extending yesterday's uptrend, the Denmark currency edged higher
against its US counterpart on Thursday morning. The Danish krone
advanced to a 2-day high of 5.1878 against the greenback by 7:50 am
ET, compared to 5.2186 hit late New York Wednesday. The pair is
presently worth 5.2075 with 5.177 seen as the next target
level.
The Danish krone is pegged to the euro since January 1, 1999.
Prior to the introduction of the euro, the Danish Krone was pegged
to the German Mark. The reference rate for the euro-krone pair is
at 7.4603.
