TD Ameritrade Holdings Corp. (AMTD), whose owners include
Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD.T, TD), said the chief financial officer
of the TD Bank unit will become TD Ameritrade's chief financial
officer.
The online brokerage said Steve Boyle will join the company in
July and will become CFO on Oct. 1.
In January, TD Ameritrade said its financial chief, Bill Gerber,
planned to retire.
Mr. Boyle joined TD Banknorth in 1997 as executive vice
president and controller.
TD Ameritrade reported weaker-than-expected revenue for the
quarter ended Dec. 31 but gave a positive outlook for continued
strong growth in client assets and trading activity.
